Jason George writes about Ron Paul's Fundraising Success:

Paul hauled in $1.85 million on Monday, besting a Tuesday NYC fundraiser by Sen. John McCain, which gathered about $1 million, and former Gov. Mike Huckabee's Sunday trip to Chuck Norris's ranch, which Campaign Manager Chip Saltsman says brought in about $330,000. (Norris' goal was $10 million.)

According to an article posted today on Rense.com, Huck's staff is foregoing checks and several have resigned. The campaign is functionaly bankrupt. Expect a withdrawl after Florida.

have any real support. People vote for hi because the media has drummed him up. If the media drummed Paul the same way, we would get all the uninformed mindless votes too. They vote but they don't really support! Then again why would you support him. I support the Dallas Cowboys but I'm not sending them cash. Thats the way Hucks supporters are. Rooting for the winning team. When hes not winning they'll jump ship to mcain or romneys team. When theyre gone, they could come to us.

Looks like Walker Texas Ranger isn't as popular as he thinks.

I think he is better off selling Total Gym stuff. Politics obviously is not something he has influence in.

With this $330,000 Huck can maybe now afford to pay for hotel rooms and his plane tickets.

was some rubber chicken event with a price tag of $2,300 per...or something along those lines. Not everyday Americans sacrificing some household purchase to toss 50 or 100 bucks Ron's way.
