Should happen in a lot of states

More states splitting (especially high population states) would improve things in many respects by decentralizing power (on a state level and in the Senate specifically). Over-centraliziation is at the root of many of our nations problems, and while state splitting wouldn't solve everything by any stretch, it would offer a lot of benefits.

Three cheers for North Colorado!

...and the liberty movement should be supporting them.

Why on earth would they

Why on earth would they secede from colorado and then invite the federal government back in? That's like the Scottish nationalist party wanting to secede from the uk so they can have their own representation in the EU.

I say they run for it and don't look back!

It's a step in the right direction.
