PRISM & NSA Whistleblower Revealed: Edward Snowden, to Prevent a Turnkey Tyranny

BOOM.

Excerpt:

The individual responsible for one of the most significant leaks in US political history is Edward Snowden, a 29-year-old former technical assistant for the CIA and current employee of the defence contractor Booz Allen Hamilton. Snowden has been working at the National Security Agency for the last four years as an employee of various outside contractors, including Booz Allen and Dell.

The Guardian, after several days of interviews, is revealing his identity at his request. From the moment he decided to disclose numerous top-secret documents to the public, he was determined not to opt for the protection of anonymity. "I have no intention of hiding who I am because I know I have done nothing wrong," he said.

Snowden will go down in history as one of America's most consequential whistleblowers, alongside Daniel Ellsberg and Bradley Manning. He is responsible for handing over material from one of the world's most secretive organisations – the NSA.

Snowden's whistleblowing gives us a chance to roll back what is tantamount to an 'executive coup' against the US Constitution

I meant to respond to merry mom.

They're thinking,

hey, there's an opening at Booz Allen Hamilton. Americans won't care until something happens to them personally. Then it will be too late.

Also, if you still think libertarianism leading to corporatist monopoly is good, welcome to Big Brother, Inc.

Snowden is a Ron Paul supporter!!

I just looked into the Federal Election Commission records;

look what I found

SNOWDEN, EDWARD REQUESTED/SENIOR ADVISOR WAIPAHU HI 96797 05/06/2012 $250 Ron Paul

Don't know if this was reported earlier...

End ALL central banks, end the Euro and the European Union

I wonder if he comes to the Daily Paul

If you do Mr. Snowden, I'd just like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. And, I'll do whatever I can to support your effort.

Yes he is.

Snownden's action and the ensuing battle over the right to privacy is going to separate the real libertarians from the corporatist libertarians. The data base they are compiling will be used to suppress any criticism of corporate hegemony. This site and all of its community will receive special attention, btw. The same is true for progressive sites.

Where are the others?

What are all of the other low-level government employees involved in this massive data collection thinking right about now?

I can try to sketch it up, in a not-so-wild guess:

I can try to sketch it up, in a not-so-wild guess:

1. for those who are skilled and/or talented, and with a conscience worth of the name, they are likely putting their professional network at work to get back at a private sector job, maybe not as well-paid or not with all the same perks, but allowing them to sleep better sooner rather than later; a job that'd be unrelated to serving wanna-be tyrants this time;

2. for those who are somehow skilled, with or without talent, and with no big conscience, more attached to just getting their paycheck, they are likely double- or triple-checking they have their butts covered for everything that might seem unclear to their hierarchy;

3. most if not all others are crossing their fingers tight they didn't displease their hierarchy more or less recently; like (2), mostly worried about just being able to keep their (tax payer-paid) jobs.

Sounds about right.

Aren't there at least one or two people in a fourth category: "Thinking about going to Iceland, backing up Snowden, and getting out country back"?

I guess I wish for the same as you do

I guess I wish for the same as you do, there.

Yes, there might be a few of that fourth.

Hopefully.

"God knows."

Where are the wiretaps?

Mr. Snowden, I applaud you for telling us they are monitoring our every action, transaction, etc....like we didn't already know.
What you failed to do was to actually do some "monitoring" of the elitists, and put that on YT, or some pod., or given to someone who would eventually do so.
Where are those "wiretaps"...I'd like to see some of congressmen and senators who support this kind of crapola.
A top Senator or Congressman on an excursion with a high profile callgirl,
Sorta like that movie "Enemy of the State"
Now that's what America wants to see.
The geek shall rule the world.
Know what I mean?
Now that all this has been revealed to the American public, I think its a good time to see some sort of "distraction"...a "false flag" to get us back to the "FEAR" factor...
Hey look, Haley's comet.

CIA Assets

This might have been talked about in the other 130+ comments below but I'm not going to read them all.
Did you hear in his interview where he said he had access to the locations and names of all of the CIA assets around the world, or something like that, and then he said that if he wanted to do harm to the USA he could have revealed that information? I wonder if that was a clue to the intelligence community to leave him alone or he would release that information. It could be taken as a veiled threat. I wonder, if he does have that information, how many copies are out there hidden just waiting to come out if something bad happens to him.

get your GED.....

go to work for the cia..200K /YR..top secret security ...Leakey was an anthropologist working in africa...

Pardon Snowden petition!!!!!

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/pardon-edward-snow...

Also on the site is a "Obama needs to resign" petition. I think they both have a chance of hitting the 100K threshold.

Signing a petition

to have him pardoned implies you think he has done something illegal. Don't support something that sends that message. Instead we should be focusing on criminal charges for the illegal things the NSA/White House have been doing.

The real question

Is how can we help ?

To leave this moment to internet blabber would be wrong.

If in their ANGER, the White House & their

accomplices & CIA assassins attempt to murder this young man, they will be making a very grave mistake.

The smartest thing they can do is to face the music & let the BILLIONAIRE ELITES chips fall where they may.

Anyone can help him right now, as he has no charges filed against him. But, how is the question. I don't know. All communications are monitored, as he said. Any plan that would have worked would have involved an elaborate contact system that would be impossible to follow, impossible to know, and impossible to know who would be helping him.

I think it's possible he would have such a plan. If you were him, wouldn't you have taken the time to figure something out? For starters, if he is smart, he would not have been in HK at the time. He would have been long gone. Think about it like a movie. What would you have done?

There are many patriots all over the world---THANK GOD.

My

My Hero's Snowden, Manning and every other whistle blower. We need more good people like this. Again thank you thank you Very much.

All of America sees Edward Snowden as a hero.

All of the media whores and presstitutes call him a traitor.

Who is right?

I submit Americans are right.

Expose the real traitors, the bubble-headed whores in lame street media who are paid to say whatever they say.

We, the people speak from our hearts and minds without our paychecks and ego on the line.

Nobody PAYS us to say Snowden is a hero. We know he is.

Whores in the media who are paid to speak say he is a traitor. Who paid them to say that? Why?

To keep Americans as enslaved, tax paying, terrorist-fearing idiots, that's why.

Don't allow this to happen.

We, the people say Snowden is a hero. We, the people OWN this country. End of story.

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!
9/11 Truth.

What is wrong with this picture?

Someone leaks information that everything that Americans do electronically is being stored, sorted and filed in data centers for agency use as they see fit without oversight.

This person is the only one who will be punished.

What is wrong with this picture?

Now lets end the Rothschild system

1. No more corporation hidden ownership and responsibility
2. No more counterfit money
3. No more compounding, false debt, national debt.
4. No more government theft and extortion

Everyone involved in the theft, use, and storage of private information property must be held accountable and punished.

If a theif is not stopped he/she will only stop after they have taken everything including your life.

sovereign

As usual

most of the article's comments range from stupid to moronic.

Those PuffHos are now saying Snowden did what he did due to 'deep-seated extremism'...and...

wait for it

"racism"

Words cannot adequately describe the contempt I have for those state-worshiping fools.
