Conspiracy Theory Hipster (Updated)

Thought this was funny in light of the MSM hubbub over stuff we all knew was going on years ago.

I expected to hear a na-na-na-na-na...

Check this out - along the same lines (of the truth being in plain site for years):

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

The way to embed an image is to type this code
.<.img. src=". ".>.
Where the quotes are, you would paste the image URL.
in this case http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/400x/38592211.jpg.
Exlude all the periods I added. had to do it to make the code show up.
as long as you have the "" and <> right, you should see you pic!

Ron brought the Liberty movement together, Rand is expanding the crap out of it! :)

Thanks for the help!

I've posted photos before on other forums that way and it wasn't working here for some reason. I decided to download and then upload the photo to the web myself and use that link instead. It worked. The original link must have kept it from working for some reason. I'm not smart enough with HTML to figure that one out though. =)

Conspiracy theory hipsters and USA Today, evidently.

I might as well be the scarf-wearing asshat in that meme >__>

Me as well Suburbia

It's almost frustrating how many people who thought I was just a nutty alarmist are now wanting to talk to me about how the NSA is recording everything we do. I have to get over myself and be thankful that at least they are waking up to things that have been apparent for years.

All this sudden MSM coverage of multiple scandals does make me suspicious though. People now look at me weird when I tell them I don't trust the media's motives in reporting on these things. I guess I will always be "that conspiracy theory guy" even when my conspiracy theories are regretfully proven true.

Speaking of Conspiracy Theory Guys...

Truth nugget in the form of comedy :P

I feel your pain, though, Sethster. I'm glad your vigilance is starting to pay off in enlightening those closest to you. For the past few years, whether it was family gatherings or large, drunken parties, I simply couldn't help but drop a "Truth Seed" every now and again. Some listened, most didn't. But that seed was slowly germinated not only by me, but by revelations like the NDAA and this Prism scandal. I'm not sure how many of my friends will see "the Big Picture" because of something like this, but at the very least, the smart ones are becoming distrustful of the State, which is a step in the right direction.

I understand what you mean about the MSM as well, and to a certain extent, I think it's a credit to the alternative media and guys like us who follow it. CNN/FOX/MSNBC can no longer afford to NOT talk about these major stories. That's a victory. Your suspicion is well founded, though, because like most "conspiratorial" stories covered by the MSM, it's quickly ushered back into the two-party paradigm and compartmentalized.

"Sure, this looks bad, but it was one time. It was one company, one corrupt administration. Back to work, everyone, back to work."

Nothing could be further from the Truth. All this means is we have to work that much harder :D

I mean, I can dig it.

It was probably the pandas.
