Lindsey Graham getting a Liberty Challenger?

Senator Rand Paul is having a luncheon in Greenville, SC at the end of the month, then Paul is heading over to Columbia,SC for a BBQ dinner. The BBQ dinner is $75 a person (it goes to SCGOP).

State Senator Tom Davis, a huge liberty ally, just announced on his Facebook page that he will be introducing Paul at the BBQ. And it's hard not to speculate that Davis will announce he's challenging Graham, followed by a Rand Paul endorsement. In case you aren't aware of Tom Davis' contributions to liberty...

Remember this is pure speculation by me, but if there was ever a time to announce that Graham is getting a primary, this is the time.

Primary Graham!

This isn't happening.....

Fundraisers happen all the time in politics, and I've never heard or read anything about Tom Davis taking such a big step. There is a huge, huge difference between being just a State Senator, and deciding to go into the cesspool that is Washington, D.C.

Until an announcement is actually made, there is no reason to think that this is really happening.

Things to consider that lead

Things to consider that lead to my speculation:

Tom Davis gave an electrified speech at We are the Future and asked for help defeating Graham
In February he said he wasn't going to run, but shortly after said he may change his mind
For the past month, Davis has been slamming Graham on his Facebook constantly
Nothing better than to announce then have Rand Paul endorse you right after

Sure Davis might not do anything, but I think my speculation is warranted

ammo for the challenger - my Graham interview

Sen. Lindsey Graham says foreign aid is not redistribution of wealth! He said he is against redistribution of wealth but claims that foreign aid, i.e, redistribution of wealth from Americans to foreigners, is not redistribution.

Every time Graham speaks, he

Every time Graham speaks, he makes it easier to defeat him. Look at his Facebook page, he hardly has any supportive comments.

I hope

This comes through.

Hope & Pray

If there is any truth to this at all, it would be the BEST news I've heard for what seems like years. It would be a game changer for me personally, and perhaps switch this old cynical perspective I've had lingering for the whole 'Rand' issue - if you know what I mean. Hit 'em, and hit 'em hard. It's past time to make a stand for Liberty & Peace! And what better place to do it than in the State that boo's the Golden Rule.

"I just want to live in a free country" - Dr. Ron Paul

Listened to Tom in the Sun Dome

at Ron Paul's rally before the convention. He was on fire. He literally screamed Bernanke should be tried for Treason. Talk about Red Meat. I also heard Rand Paul speak. I was especially interested to see what he sounded like in person after seeing a lot of pros and cons about him on this site. He came across as extremely genuine and down to earth.

Two big pluses and worthy of support in my book.

Please god make it so

I'll go broke throwing my money at any decent opponent of Lindsey "Israel first" Graham.

I dont think so...

This has come up a number of times. Davis was clear--he won't run. Unfortunately. Hey, I hope I'm wrong.

Also Rand will never endorse against a GOP incumbent for the reason Ron never did--it goes against party rules. Unfortunately. Again, hey, I hope I'm wrong.

heh, heh, I'll drink to

heh, heh, I'll drink to that.

But Rand has to be a good boy in the GOP until 2016. I'm disappointed Davis is not stepping up. I was really looking forward to his campaign being front and center of the liberty movement, just as Rand Paul's senate campaign lit up 2010.

A few weeks after he said he

A few weeks after he said he wasn't running, he made a post on facebook saying maybe he should rethink his decision, but hasn't mentioned it since. So there's hope....

I have been following Tom

I have been following Tom Davis for awhile... hes decent. A huge advance compare too LG

Davis was endorsed by Ron Paul in 2012

and Ron was a special guest at one of his fundraisers.

I hope so

I can't stand Lindsey Graham.

"From your lips to..."

I can't think of any Republican I'd like to see primary-ed more than Graham, and can't think of a more ideal challenger than Davis.

Can you imagine how much more fertile territory SC would be for Rand in '16 with Davis in the Senate?!

And Matt Moore is the new

And Matt Moore is the new SCGOP Chairman...who's also a friend of liberty!
