Message Verizon

I am a Verizon customer. In fact I have never had any other cell phone service. Every month Verizon sends a text message telling me that my bill is ready. I just hit "reply" and said "Send it to the NSA."

Message sent.

aren't the reply messages just sent to a catch all

So I do not believe any replies even gotten to anyone. That is how most pbx systems that send txt spam work.

However i do agree. I am a verizon customer, soon not be. I will be contacting them in regards.

You are probably correct

The point is to DO something and SAY something! If you notice, I put it in the "Humor" category, even though it is true. Now that I know the government is really saving everything I say, I think that I will speak up and let them know that I object to what is going on. I hope everyone speaks up until they are deafened by the roar!,

when I CANCELLED my AT&T service two months ago I told them it was due to spying. I suggest all y'all do the same. Grow some balls ... make a stand ... take charge of your privacy and shitcan your cell service .... nothing gets a corporation's attention like the word BOYCOTT

Anyone ever think?

What all those crazy taxes and fees they add to everyone's bill are and what they are actually funding? Like "federal access fee". Lol. In light of recent news, that has a whole new meaning now, doesn't it?

:)

You are correct....

They want us to pay for our own enslavement.

Why should I run?

I thought about finding another phone company, but then I would also need to leave Google, and I love my g mail, I NEED my g mail! then there's You Tube, how would I know what's happening in the world? I keep track of my scattered family on Facebook....

Why should I run? These criminals who are trampling on the constitution and destroying our liberty, our pursuit of happiness, our way of life...they should be the one's on the run. It's time to go throw open the window and shout "I'm mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Better Yet...

I doubt that this will do much good...and not paying your bill for whatever reason is probably not going to end well for you.

What I did was call up Verizon and expressed my displeasure with their customer service department and I would suggest this avenue for all users, so they know we're upset about it. Customer service has a direct expense to Verizon, whereas a text message that probably won't get read does not.

I told them that I am weighing my options on whether I will continue to have cellular service, since I fully expect this issue goes beyond just Verizon and I don't expect much to change, even if it's in the wide open. I'm hoping we might see one of the providers come out against these practices and then I'll move to them. That'd be a smart business decision right now.

I intend to pay the bill.

I sent that comment to them, instantly, because I want to speak up and at least object to what they are doing. I was thinking to dig up my annual privacy statement and see if we Verizon customers might have a possible class action suit, say, consumer fraud, or something, just thinking....

I think you did a real funny, lol--

I think it's a good idea, too, to remind ourselves periodically that we are in fact paying them to enslave us.
