Perhaps because I've gone years at a time without a TV over my life and always enjoyed reading books, I've seen this coming for a long time. I'm still ashamed that I have been sucked in as much as I have (voted for Bush II two times knowing it wasn't right), but I really feel what this man is saying.

Useful idiot

or Useful Innocent
In political jargon, useful idiot is a pejorative term for people perceived as propagandists for a cause whose goals they do not understand, and who are used cynically by the leaders of the cause.
