RT - He told you so: Bill Binney talks NSA leaks UPDATED with Relevant Information.

It didn't start with Snowden. "Meta-data only" is a lie.

"...the rest of them in congress didn't have the foggiest idea."

"that's the power that government has.. they have the power of the gun and the force and if they have the knowledge about you then they can start to use that against you. Especially if you don't agree with the policies that they're setting up."

The Original Binney Interview:

Published on Apr 20, 2012 DemocracyNow.org - In his first television interview since he resigned from the National Security Agency over the its domestic surveillance program, William Binney discusses the NSA's massive power to spy on Americans and why the FBI raided his home after he became a whistleblower. Binney was a key source for investigative journalist James Bamford's recent exposé in Wired Magazine about how the NSA is quietly building the largest spy center in the country in Bluffdale, Utah. The Utah spy center will contain near-bottomless databases to store all forms of communication collected by the agency including private emails, cell phone calls and Google searches and other personal data.
Binney served in the NSA for over 30 years, including a time as technical director of the NSA's World Geopolitical and Military Analysis Reporting Group. Since retiring from the NSA in 2001 he has warned that the NSA's data-mining program has become so vast that it could "create an Orwellian state." Today marks the first time Binney has spoken on national television about NSA surveillance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaTv5MODnBk

Former FBI Counter-Terrorism Agent, Tim Clemente: "No digital information is secure."

Important EFF v NSA Cases

YOUTUBE these names. REMEMBER THOSE NAMES. Call whoever you listen to on the radio. Watch C-SPAN. Call in. Call out these snakes on their lies about "meta-data" and FISA courts. This info didn't break the main-stream when it happened. NOW we've got a chance to reach more and get the truth out since people are paying it some attention. The MSM won't do it, will you?

Just thought I should comment on Clemente's quote:

Just thought I should comment on Clemente's quote:

"No digital information is secure."

It's not a new idea.

It's been known for a while in the domain; only from Schneier's quotes:

"Cyril" pronounced "see real". I code stuff.

"To study and not think is a waste. To think and not study is dangerous." -- Confucius

interesting stuff

never heard of him before but he's got some good quotes there for sure.

"It is poor civic hygiene to install technologies that could someday facilitate a police state." I particularly enjoyed that one.

But my point wasn't to say that it's a new revelation. It was just to inform anyone who may not be aware and to remind those that are, that this 'meta-data' line the est. is tossing out is an out-right lie.

I was watching CSPAN and a snake from the house intel committee was on talking down the program and not one single caller was able to call him out. Unfortunately it ended before I got to my phone but my blood was boiling all day.

The hope was that people may use it as a quick reference or send it to others.. flood the phones and call the rats out on their lies.

Schneier on Security

One of his topics:

He is quite known for his (usually) no-nonsense take on the state of affairs in the domain.

Good reading ;)

Thank you...

For posting this.
He is telling us exactly what Congress needs to know.
No need for 'closed' hearings to find TRUTH.
The PURPOSE of the closed hearings is to ENTRAP the entire Congress into 'silence'.
By simply listening to this same 15 minute dialog, ANY Congressperson would be able to bypass the 'gag' ploy... be able to speak freely... and have ENOUGH to call for investigation.

The same goes for any State congress or Governor.

Challenges, Suits, Grand Juries and Investigations can and should ERUPT across the Nation from ANY and ALL angles... concurrently.

This is OUR moment... to go on the offensive... we don't need guns or bunkers to do it.

EVERYONE, Coast to Coast has been MATERIALLY damaged and can have standing (not just Verizon customers).

I don't think the Constitution allows for gagging...

So if I was a senator, I would just speak up. And speak up NOW, before the noose gets tighter around my neck.

I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.
