Let’s Roll! U.S. to Arm Syrian Rebels and ‘No-Fly’ Zone

It looks like the president, McCain and Graham inc. are going to get their little war...will it stay little?

(Today, President Obama announced) a U.S. military proposal for arming Syrian rebels also calls for a limited no-fly zone inside Syria that would be enforced from Jordanian territory to protect Syrian refugees and rebels who would train there, according to U.S. officials.

Asked by the White House to develop options for Syria, military planners have said that creating an area to train and equip rebel forces would require keeping Syrian aircraft well away from the Jordanian border.

To do that, the military envisages creating a no-fly zone stretching up to 25 miles into Syria which would be enforced using aircraft flown from Jordanian bases and flying inside the kingdom, according to U.S. officials...(WSJ)

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey — The United States authorized on Friday the deployment of 400 troops to man two Patriot missile-defense batteries along Turkey’s border with Syria, a move that could put American troops near the front lines of the Arab country’s escalating civil war.

http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2012-12-14/world/35812955...

Just a thought: What's to stop the Patriot missile-defense batteries being turned around and firing on the Turkish protesters?

So that means every USA

So that means every USA Citizen, awake or not, is a Terrorist.

"The Obama administration has pledged to provide $123 million in aid to the rebel forces, which may include armored vehicles, body armor, and other defensive military supplies. That would bring the total U.S. help to $250 million."

250 million dollars? That means for the 313.9 million Americans, each one of us has chipped in via taxes a little under $1 directly to what our Gov't openly declared 'our enemies' in Alqaeda. Under the USAPATRIOT act, that would make everyone legally a terrorist, subject to the provisions in the NDAA including indefinite detention without a trial.

The hypocrisy of the state is almost unbearable. When will the people elect these hawks out of office?

So have a nice day, you terrorists!

Where does a no-fly zone come from? Not the UN or McCain's As

Where does a no-fly zone come from? Not out the UN, and not out of John Mad Dog McCain's rear end. Russia and China have blocked all sanctions against Syria, and will never agree to a no-fly zone, even one 25 miles deep into Syrian territory.

So, according to the Daily Mail, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2341361/U-S-proposes..., Obama wants to blow $50,000,000 a day because "they" found what?

Where is the authority for no-fly zone?

This is certainly an act of war. How do they pull this crap?

Bubba said "the voters will respect you for it" so Obama dood it

Bubba said "the voters will respect you for it" so Obama dood it like the cheap, pathetic chain-smoking sock puppet he is!

The fall of Qusair was a titanic defeat for the al-Qaeada cannibals trying to destroy Syria.

Bill Clinton warned Obama that his respect level will increase if he increases the bloodshed and destruction in Syria, so Obama does what he's told.

Too bad the President doesn't realize he's being set up by Hillary to take a majour fall on this one.

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

So, if the Gov is funding Al-Qaeda-supporting rebels...

...could the military be called in to indefinitely detain the administration under the NDAA?

Said that we would attack Syria in a speech in 2007.With the US economy is still in the tank. Printing trillions of dollars don't work. People waking up to government serfdom. Warmongers

They think they're qualified to tell us who the 'good guys' are? How about, there are no good guys.

This is pointless and meddlesome. Plus, we're broke. WTF!

The first thing that came to

The first thing that came to mind when I heard this was when Bill Clinton started bombing Iraq in the heat of the Monica Lewinski scandal. Nothing more than a ploy to try and misdirect the anger over the recent scandals.

FYI:
The people at DailyKos are torn about how they should feel about this announcement. They're mad because John McCain is involved, but glad that OBama is going in to be the hero again in another international incident.

O: What is our opening move W? What will we start the game off with? I think we should bring in some UN reserves and then hit'em hard!

W: Not your style Barry, besides you have a Nobel in the trophy case to protect. If you play by the rules you might win another one. Start off with the No-Fly-Zone formation. It is guaranteed to move the ball every time and then you can set up your offense on the next play.

O: That sounds great, Coach. Let's Roll Team America!

March, 2012

Congress knew about a proposed no-fly zone in Syria in March, 2012.

Obama wants to resettle Syrian refugees in the United States:

"It should be noted that Congress resisted accepting Iraqi refugees in 2003 following the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. Between 1983 and 2009, the U.S. resettled a total of 76,205 Iraqis. Meanwhile, seventy percent of total refugees in the U.S. were on food stamps in 2009. Within that number, 95 percent of Iraqi refugees were food stamp recipients. Additionally, the report shows an unemployment rate of 46 percent in 2009 among Iraqi refugees. A total of 219 Syrian refugees were resettled in the U.S. between 1983 and 2009.

More importantly, President Obama's administration supports Syrians who are attempting to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad, but the emergence of Islamic extremist groups with ties to al Qaeda among the Syrian opposition presents a serious security concern."

1995, the Oklahoma City bombing:

All of these suspects immigrated to the U.S. following the Persian Gulf War, ostensibly seeking political asylum from the tyranny of Saddam Hussein. However, my investigation revealed they were false defectors -not outspoken dissidents as they had professed.

Jayna Davis's book, The Third Terrorist, is one of the most well sourced books I've read.

Is it really a good idea to allow Syrian rebels into the country, the Iraqi Republican Guard, Ramzi Youself, Khalid Shiek Mohammad, Syrian rebels (Al-Qaeda)? Congress must think it is...

Wow good find, I do recall

Wow good find, I do recall this to be true and hearing a lot about people seeking refuge in the UK or US, several thousand in fact.

From what I've read

the majority of Iraqi National Guard granted asylum after the Gulf War were resettled in Norman, Oklahoma.
