Thanks, Troy

I have updated the thread with the link that you provided :-)

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

I'm in. Any chance this can

I'm in. Any chance this can go more mainstream and outta just Ohio, is worth the chance to donate to. Ben has proved his integrity to me, and I hope he can make a living doing this for a LONG time!!

I recently had the chance to

I recently had the chance to interview Dr. Paul and we talked in depth about the changing media landscape. How has media changed for a man who has spent his entire life attempting to change the system?

""When I first started in politics in the 70's, we basically had three major networks and they were very, very close together on philosophy…..But now the options are great…..Now the information is going out differently. It's going out on handheld devices and computers and telephones and they can turn you on and off when they want. They have so many more choices.

Dr. Paul then added: "I'm optimistic that things are going to do well and I'm optimistic because you're (Ben Swann) involved in this fight with us."

Not trivial at all.....

Truth is trivial.....and all this time I thought it was treason.....

On your example of using monies for a legal fund, you make the happygirls point. If it is for a legal fund this whole thing stinks of fraud, I doubt it is that.

Let me get this straight, an honest Constitutional conservative is supposed to sell their silver to buy anonymous plastic to contribute to something political over the NSA net......It takes a little more than flash and dazzle to get me to convert my capitol to junk money and put my name on the net.

Freedom is an animated conquest and security is an individual responsibility. These donations have risk that should be considered.

Ten dollars is easy, the risk is real and with the current information it has not become appealing, just a little intriguing......

For What It's Worth

In for $25. Will donate more

In for $25. Will donate more if we get close to the goal.

“It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds”
-Sam Adams

Thanks, netzorro :-)

The money will not be contributed unless he actually hits the goal. Anything short and nothing is lost.

Would you consider contributing more now, so that the goal can be met?

I love Ben Swann, but I

I love Ben Swann, but I think Peter Schiff have some valid points. Seems like a bit too much to ask for and why do 100 episodes? Why not just do 10-25 and see how they go? Kickstarter doesn't give the money if the goal isn't reached.

Can someone explain this to me.

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

100 Episodes

Doing just 10-25 episodes would require us to be back asking for more money way to often. You would literally see Ben pitching every week about funding versus doing great investigative journalism. The intent is to do this just once (meaning fundraising on KS). 100 episodes enables us to have a legitimate shot at redefining media and restoring an honest brand of journalism in America. It takes more than a few dozen episodes to create a groundswell. Real change takes time and consistency.

We are very confident in our approach to this. Ben brings 15+ years on investigative journalism. I'm bringing 20 years of brand experience through film and digital cinema. Great movements require bold action. We aim for nothing less than excellence. Our signature will be on every one of those episodes and will be our legacy to Liberty.

Thanks, PAF.

I would love to see the look on Peter Schiff's face if Ben raises his goal.

All teeth....

If it works.....all teeth

I'm in...

not even a hint of hesitation. More power to you Ben, you do great work, keep it going!

Proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof

If you read this...Post an address I can send money to...I'm off-grid and bank free, but my money spends!
Or anyone else that has an address for Ben or his project...

Bad food, worse weather, please rEVOLution the states so I can bring my family back home!
Rosa Koire for for President!

Actually $10 sounds like a lot of money these days

Lately, we don't usually watch a movie unless we get a free Redbox code. Would love to donate to Ben if they can say specifics of what the money will be spent on... still pretty vague in this video, which makes what the money will be spent on all the more intriguing...so yes, I am on here again, you keep putting these videos front page on my favorite site, I'm going to keep asking, what is the money for?

And now getting down voted again... asking the people who want to spread truth, what are they going to use the money on, gets a down vote... booo... we are spreading truth... none of your business what we need the money for.

im with ya happygirlapps, in

im with ya happygirlapps, in this day and age, questions should not be avoided , even if we like and trust.......hell....any day and age

I like ben for what he did in rons campaign, speak his name when others wouldnt unless accompanied with a slander, both obvious or subtle, but i still believe in, "the price of freedom is eternal vigilance", which is where i think your coming from, if so, i agree with that sentiment

Saying that, i hope, and feel ben to be a good guy, but i wont discount the possibility that he or others involve are not capable of NOT being good.....it is within us all to be both, and everything inbetween, its why you dont discount the possibility of a tyranical government in a so called free nation

Saying that.....again....i feel and hope ben is the real deal, i wish him and those involved, luck, for as long as they keep that fire within their hearts alive, or finds it, or gets it back.

Call Me On Monday

Happygirlapps - call me on Monday after 10AM if you can. You know the number. I'm not in Chicago this week (at an offsite shoot). We can go over whatever your concerns are then. It's all good.

You should have my number too, so call anytime...

100 high quality 6 minute news stories like

reality check. That`s what it`s for. Have you SEEN reality check? Who wouldn`t pay 10 cents to watch an episode of reality check (obviously just about everyone in Washington)? How about 100 hard hitting unbridled reality check episodes dealing with the BS that is going on right now.

Okay thank you

I know that part... what I wanted to know, and what others including Peter Schiff asked yesterday and was never answered clearly was do they have a budget, or is it going to salaries? How did they arrive at the figure of $1.25 million, how was it calculated, or estimated, and where does the money go? I realize there are people who don't care, and will just donate because they like Ben, but you have to realize there are people who do care, even if they do like Ben, and would like to know where their $10 is being spent. Even if it is for salaries, that is fine, Ben is worth it, just let people know that is where the money is going. Either that or lose the entire group of people who like to know specifics of where their money is going.

Now all you people that want to change the world, please commence with the downvoting and name calling again, change the world one downvote at a time!

I think people

just think that what your asking is trivial. Lets take an extreme case. Let`s say it cost them only $100k to produce the edited and polished ten hours of footage. That`s the budget of their equipment and whatever other supports they need just to get the job done. I doubt it would be possible to do it any cheaper even if all the equipment was already owned and the supporting staff and needs were already in place. So let`s say the remaining $1.125 million all goes to wages of the dozen + people working there in the most extreme of possibilities. That`s a maximum average of $110k each, right. So, to get 10 hours of condensed hard hitting investigative journalism, with witnesses and guest speakers, fact checked and polished to the point that it can stand up against the onslaught of the establishment press, how much time do you think that will take for a dozen + people to do. It will probably be a few thousands of hours of work at a minimum, and that`s independent of advertising, legal fees, etc. Also, I would wager that such a production will take more than a dozen people. So, could it be that we`re paying maybe double the rate that would be expected for a typical journalist for good investigative journalism over the next few months. IMO Ben`s work is worth 10 to 1 what other typical journalists have been putting out. So, that`s why I think others find your criticisms a mute point and perhaps they want to shelter from view where some of the money is going. Maybe, they are holding out a quarter million so that they continue after the 100 episodes are done while they get a revenue stream coming in. Maybe they are going to offer a quarter million dollar reserve for legal protection or for whistle blower protection. These are things that they`d be foolish to disclose.

Okay, so you want to fund this never-before-seen truth investigating program where you pry into other people's business finding out things, but when someone who donates money to you to fund this, wants a list of where their money was spent, you criticize them, and trivialize their request... does not make sense to me.

And I think you mean "moot" point, ha ha.. "mute" point means they can't hear you!

Thanks for the grammar correction,

now I have to go back and think where I've used "mute" in the wrong context before. Which is probably everywhere for many many years. Hahaha.

I have a question for you. Have you watched some of the Reality Check segments? I'm sure you're getting criticism just because your words imply that some part of these funds may be allocated poorly. I realize that you want to know before you consider contributing. However, the people that have been following Ben's work for years have already seen considerable conviction and integrity pour out of this guy. At this point they wouldn't care if he burnt the money, including myself.

I donated to fund Ben Swann's program (more than $10 dollars). I haven't seen it yet, of course, but I trust that it will be up to the standards I have come to expect from him. I don't take Ben Swann trivially, and have no problem trusting something he is a part of.

I consider it an investment, and I declined any reward for my donation.

Also, I have seen several replies to you to call them directly and they will be happy to talk to you about your issues. Obviously, if they don't satisfy your questions, you shouldn't donate.

Personally, I suspect 1.25 mil is a bargain for what we'll get.

Just open the box and see

i donated my $10 yesterday

I know times are tough. But I wish people could donate like they did during RP's campaign. Knowledge is power, so we need to spread it. And Ben Swann is the perfect Trojan Horse to wake up the indoctrinated ones.

i dont remember

ever buying 2 cds for ten dollars unless they were 2nd hand. maybe 10 dollars a piece.

Hope this gets fully funded. Looks great!
