Nope

It's the republicans turn to put their guy in. They have to make it look like things are changing and that the people have a voice. Jeb Bush 2016 :(

If the choice is between

If the choice is between Hillary and Jeb, I'm voting for Hillary. That old hag will be 70 when she wins.

It will probably be Jeb vs. Hillary 2016.

I know that that might be a little pessimistic but they are already talking about Bush being the front runner if he decides to run.
I hope I'm wrong.

I can hear the chants now at the conventions, R & D

Whoever wins

it will not matter. As for the masses, 8 years R, 8 years D, it is time to insert another R. You know, to keep things 'balanced'.

Please no

I don't think I could handle seeing Chelsea, in addition to the rest of the family anymore so than now.

I don't know how it is up your way

but our votes mean nothing here. If the Central Planners don't pick us off one by one at the county and state level, the voting machines are there to mop up the rest!

What if we print off enough paper

ballots for everybody and then we hijack the electronic voting machines first thing. If it takes two days to count, at least they'd be counted. All we'd need is coffee and donuts for the counters and scrutineers, and we'd have ourselves a real election.

I'm down for that

or how about a voting machine that prints out a receipt?

They could still flip the vote, after the receipt was printed.

The only way to be 100 percent sure everyone's ballots are tabulated correctly is to reinstate the paper ballot system. ( :

I know.

It's not a technology problem, it's a corruption problem. Imagine if you could match your ballot number with the receipt to the vote you cast online afterwards and you watched the vote total change by 1 right after you placed your vote. That's democracy. But without reinventing the wheel, paper ballots and scrutineers work just fine.

Yeah unfortunately there's not much of a chance ...

... as we've seen in '08 and '12 ... they pull dirty tricks to clean up in the caucuses, then let the vote flipping software clean up in the electronic voting districts.

Our best chance is to find software engineers on the inside of these voting machines .... I'd gladly lend my services to someone who has access to the code for the machines to help make sure it's fair (I'm a software engineer) :)
