Why I Can No Longer Defend Glenn Greenwald as Merely a Dupe in the Snowden Psyop

Posted on June 17, 2013 by willyloman

Over the past week and a half that I have been covering this story, my position has been that Glenn was probably just fed a bit of information on some knew “Deepthroat” type whistle-blower and the promise of a Big Story … something on the lines of his work back in 2006 on the first (and the real) spying scandal leak when he went from being an obscure blogger to the toast of the town in the alternative media. I figured he was probably a dupe who had been set-up by his own paper, the Guardian, in order to lend this Snowden psyop some more credibility and in the end, to destroy a journalist viewed as the “professional left”. I concluded that Greenwald was not an active participant in the overall psyop strategy.

I cannot in good faith support that conclusion any longer.

Don't bother reading the whole article

It's dumb and irrelevant.

I heard from an inside source that Rand Paul forced Glenn Greenwald into the Bilderberg. It's the only reason he worked with Edward Snowden to prop up the Bush administration.

Too damned wordy

Read the whole thing and no where does he say what the point of the supposed 'psyop' is.

As for GG not being a truther, it's a personal choice if you want to be in the media and just leave it be for fear of being marginalized for not having done so. Whatever you believe there is a cost to publicly expressing skepticism about the original story, just ask Deborah Medina, after Glenn Beck destroyed her on the air.

If it is an op, it has a goal, what is the purpose of this psyop?

I only see two likely goals:

1) This was going to come out anyway and they got in front of it. Maybe, but it's still damaging.

2) Their surveillance powers are not yet complete and they expect they will be able to spin the narrative to result in more power. This seems far fetched also.

I'm more inclined to believe it's a foreign power. And not Israel or the UK, they benefit from the NSA. China or Russia are the obvious suspects.

Even here, I don't much care so long as it results in us reigning in, or better yet end, the surveillance state.

I don't think it's a cowboy vs yankee thing either, or FBI vs CIA. Unless the CIA has their own independent PRISM we don't know about. Hamstringing the NSA would certainly help the CIA in that case. Or possibly the CIA wants to take PRISM, et al from NSA.

This man is on the cutting edge

Look at dakealo's list of created topics. He has identified Snowden, Adam Kokesh, Rand Paul and the Black Panthers as Zionist cointelpro psyop disinfo agents, all working together to deceive us. That's only the first page.

he gets right to the point, doesn't he!

Interesting points to be sure, and it's always wise to question. Thanks for posting.

Oh why

Why don't I take time to read multiple articles by someone before I comment. When I first read this I thought it was intriguing but noticed a certain lack of, shall we say, "facts". I hate that word, but after reading a second article by the same blogger noticed a pattern of wild accusations without any real information to back it up. sad.
