CBS News ignores Ron paul

Tonight I watched the evening news on CBS while exercising on my elliptical exercise machine. Bad idea. My goal was to de-stress myself and lower my blood pressure. The opposite happens. I grind my teeth as CBS presents interviews on all the presidential candidates, except Ron Paul. I struggle to not to pound my head against the exercise machines' display panel. I am not enjoying my workout.

As of this date, Ron Paul has beat Rudy Giuliani by large margins in Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, and South Carolina. In fact, he came in 2nd in Nevada, while Giuliani came a dismal sixth. Ron Paul currently has 6 delegates to Giuliani's 2. Ron Paul campaign just raised 1.85 million dollars in one day, on Martin Luther Kings birthday. Rudy's campaign, meanwhile, is flat broke, and his staff are working pro bono. Remember when Brit Hume asked Ron Paul during the Republican debate why he thought he was electable? Shouldn't this now be asked of Giuliani?

Yet Rudy continues to receive attention from the media--Free coverage, mind you. Ron Paul is totally, completely ignored. Ignored by CBS, ABC, the NY Times, NPR radio, Time Magazine, and Fox news.

It brings to mind a old episode of Taxi, where Danny Devito stands up after a girl he was rooting for loses a spelling bee. Devito's character chants "Fix--FIX!--- FIIIIIIIIIIX!!!. Yes, the fix is in folks. Those of you don't care for Ron Paul one whit, just remember this. If the press can choose to ignore him, they can also choose to discriminate against any number of individuals and issues. You can't expect a biased media to serve the best interests of citizens in the long run by such methods.

There Was An Excellent 5 min. Interview With Dr. Paul on MSNBC

this afternoon by Contessa Brewer. Great stuff. They even showed a clip of RP supporters shouting down Ghouliani at a gathering. He couldn't get a word in edgewise and finally went back inside. RP's finally getting some traction.

Go Ron Paul!

ABC did the same thing

ABC did the same thing tonight...They said that Romney may win by attrition because none of the other candidates have any money. We know that's not true, DON'T WE!!!

The time for us to really strike is near!!! I believe with all of my heart that Ron Paul will be sworn in next January. 100%

This is precisely the reason

This is precisely the reason why I can't wait until Giuliani and Huckabee are out of this race. Some people have suggested that it would be helpful to RP if they stay in the race. But I completely disagree. They less candidates are out there, the more attention the MSM will be FORCED to give Ron Paul. What are they gonna do? Say it's a 2-man race when it's actually a 3-man race? I'd love to see them try to pull that one off..

MrTom Great point.
