Sen. Paul Introduces ‘Secure the Vote’ Amendment

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Sen. Rand Paul today introduced the 'Secure the Vote' Amendment to S. 744, which he previously announced on June 5. "Secure the Vote" ensures that individuals on work visas or given status under the bill are not allowed to vote in federal elections until they become citizens. The amendment will provide new procedures to enable states to check that individuals gaining status or a work visa are not illegally registered to vote.

Can anyone provide a link, or copy text from the

immigration bill that mentions the RFID program? I haven't been able to find it. Thanks.

senator Cruz also added a sort of similar amendment

I remember receiving an email from C4L saying that there was a "national id card" mandate included in the bill if I recall. I can see some hilarious retorts coming when they try to call the two of them out for adding these amendments.

Senator Ted Cruz (@SenTedCruz) tweeted at 7:01 PM on Mon, Jun 17, 2013:
Just filed amendment to immigration bill that permits states to require ID for voter registration http://t.co/Um82HU7XPB

I love www.isidewith.com shared it with everyone I know. If anything they realize its not just a red and blue idiot running for reelection.

Probably wont pass, sad that something like this is even needed.

What congress

should do is repeal the motor-voter law of 1990 (pushed by husband and wife team Francis Fox Piven and Richard Cloward).

"Secure the vote act",,,,

"Secure the vote act",,,, what a joke.
Let's see some real balls and get rid of computer voting and tabulation... This bill is fluff. There will be no "secure" vote until we go analog with public counts. Rand looses me when he works the fringes of issues. This bill is a puss move. Grow a pair! We are running out of time to do this peacefully. The fact that the streets are not full of people in every capital over this NSA thing is the most frightening indicator of our lulled-stupid society I have seen yet. Now I'm really scared for us.

I don't care that the NSA is recording this. I will not go quietly! Thanks to Grandpa's careful planning...

it is an amendment

Not a bill on it's own. An amendment to S.774 the "immigration reform" bill. Still it will not really be able to pass. However, it will show the hypocrisy of these morons pushing this bloated bill that contains a "national id card" inside of it. It will be a nice 'gotcha' moment to catch these pathetic bs pushers in the act.
