Question For Rand Paul - Can You Actually Shrink The Size Of The Federal Gov't?Submitted by Houckie377 on Wed, 06/19/2013 - 22:55
An honest question for Rand Paul.
If elected president, can you actually shrink the size of the federal gov't? Can you honestly tell us you can reduce the influence of the federal gov't on our everyday lives?
Every president in the post WWII era has grown the size of federal gov't under their watch. Even Reagan, the president the conservatives love to cheer and wish for again, was unable to stop the machine from getting larger, more powerful, and more pervasive.
So simply put - Is the beast too large, to powerful, too entrenched to actually be rolled back? Does it matter who the president is? Or are the powers of the special interest and the Federal Reserve actually so massive that the machine cannot and will not stop til it has consumed all our freedoms?
