China has introduced “harsher punishments” for breaking the nation’s environmental protection laws: reckless violators of pollution standards in the world’s biggest and fastest-growing economy now face execution.

Their people are going to

Their people are going to suffer for generations from the toxic after effects of recklessly endangering their people and children. Not an easy thing to deal with, but certainly better property ownership laws and cleaning up corruption in the legal system would be a surprise instead of resorting to more immediate and blunter solution of murdering offenders.
