Posted the little blurb about who owns Reuters and AP. Hopefully folks will check for themselves and see who's manipulating their opinions.

Turning the Tide

There's nothing like having the government attacking journalists and their freedom to make a living, to turn them against the government, as when the AP's phones were tapped.

I imagine that a flight to Havana full of journalists is safer from incident than without them.

I'm not sure I'd want to be on that flight, however.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

of course the journalists won't leave him alone--

but what is the point?

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Apparently he is in Russia

Heading on his way, Looking for asylum in ecuador. And apparently the US administration is none too happy with firstly, Hong Kong allowing him to fly, and also pissed with the Russians allowing him to land and seamingly taking him in, and soon to be really pissed if they dont hand him back,

Given our intensified cooperation after the Boston Marathon bombings and our history of working with Russia on law enforcement matters -- including returning numerous high-level criminals back to Russia at the request of the Russian government -- we expect the Russian government to look at all options available to expel Mr Snowden back to the US to face justice for the crimes with which he is charged,'' said National Security Council spokesperson Caitlin Hayden."

and here-

Good on them I say!

I say apparently too, because this is actually on the news here in Australia, So who know's what is true!

This is just a decoy story to

This is just a decoy story to throw off alphabet soup agents and frustrate the establishment. It's fun to play with them.

I suspect all possible

I suspect all possible destinations are being watched, but you're likely correct. Can't see Ed going to Cuba and be a Ron Paul supporter.

What's wrong with Cuba?

The USA has persecuted and vilified Cuba for years.

Why? Why?

If I were Snowden I'd stand on the beach in Cuba and
give the US government the old 1-finger salute.

Since when do anarcholibertarians (the core support of Ron Paul)
defend the action of the US government?

There's nothing wrong with

There's nothing wrong with Cuba. I just believe Iceland is a more probable destination since they just had a revolution of their own and replaced their government.

Wow, read thru 3 pages of

Wow, read thru 3 pages of comments and didn't see even one defending the administration.

Maybe this is the beginning of the American spring.

I sure hope so. Let's hope

I sure hope so. Let's hope the Obamas take a permanent vacation and skip out. That'd be in keeping with his cowardly character.
