All members of the CFR should be arrested for treason.

The entire organization has done everything possible to subvert the US Constitution.

Is this a sign that the empire ...

Is this a sign that the empire is turning the guns in on itself?

?

He actually said that we should not help the Syrian rebels, that we should move away from the Middle East towards maintaining the balance of power in Asia and focus on domestic issues.

Why don't we ever discuss what Haas is actually proposing, namely that China may become the dominant power in Asia and that we should limit neoconservative policies?

Because I don't see him

Because I don't see him calling for a limit to neoconservative policies? Have you seen him discuss Iran and Israel? The point in Syria for creeps like Haas is not to "win," it is rather to keep one of Israel's traditional enemies weak and unstable.

I'm not a fan of Haas

I'd just rather analyze the facts than all this conspiracy rah rah rah stuff. His new book, Foreign Policy Begins at Home:

The biggest threat to the United States comes not from abroad but from within. This is the provocative, timely, and unexpected message of Council on Foreign Relations President Richard N. Haass’s Foreign Policy Begins at Home.

Haass argues for a new American foreign policy: Restoration. At home, the new doctrine would have the country concentrate on restoring the economic foundations of American power. Overseas, the U.S. would stop trying to remake the Middle East with military force, instead emphasizing maintaining the balance of power in Asia, promoting economic integration and energy self-sufficiency in North America, and working to promote collective responses to global challenges.

These are the kinds of news

These are the kinds of news segmentsyou see in 3rd world countries! Has anyone else noticed the transition towards true bonafide propaganda lately? They have fake backgrounds, no-name anchors reading 100% didactic scripted dialogue with CFR members.

???

Bloomberg is valued at $28 billion. There's thousands that work for the TV network side...?

Snowden is never mentioned

In the video, Haass talks about domestic and foreign policy issues. The topic is very misleading, and this post is annoying!

What's annoying is that they

What's annoying is that they edited out most of Haas's time on the show where he spent most of the time calling Snowden names and suggesting what should happen to him.

They left a little 2 min clip about his book and he NEO-CON lies about what he thinks people want to hear for America.

Coming Up: Russia, China and

Coming Up: Russia, China and now Ecuador? Richard Haass @CFR_Comm joins @bsurveillance on the hunt for Edward Snowden
