RT Analysis:

Paradox

He stressed that the Ecuadorian government puts human rights above any other party’s interests. Patino also said it is “paradoxical” the person who revealed alleged rights violations is being “persecuted.”

“It should be asked, who betrayed whom,” Patino stressed as he questioned the correctness of calling Snowden’s leak a “treason.”

“Is this betraying the citizens of the world, or betraying some elites that are in power in a certain country?” the Minister asked.

International Violation

The alleged US espionage plan would be violating the rights of “every citizen in the world,” Patino said, referring to Snowden’s claim that the US agencies are “intercepting the majority world’s communications.”

U.S.-Equador Dialogue

The Ecuadorian Constitution guarantees the safety of people who publish opinions through the media and work in any form of communication, Patino stressed.

Meanwhile, Ecuador is also considering a US request related to Snowden, which it received from the US envoy in Quito. Patino said the decision would come in due time.

“The relationship between the US and Ecuador should be based on respect for the sovereignty of both countries and our actions are founded on our principles. We consider the consequences of our decisions, but we act in the name of our principles,” said the Minister, stressing that the US had denied the extradition of several Ecuadorian bankers charged in Ecuador.

O please, communists always cry at the opera

Trotskyites are everywhere!!!

No Trotskyites here,

just someone who can see past the bullshit, and is tying to wake people up to the very real probability that Edward Snowdon is a HUGE red herring, and while everyone is chattering about him and his whereabouts, something else is going on.Governments have been spying on their citizens and other countries for centeries...this is nothing new. Period.
How much air time and media coverage did Bradly Manning and Sybil Edmonds get? They are REAL whistleblowers, true heroes...one held in illegal detention for years, and the other who chose to stay in the US and fight for her country.
And talking about communism, what are YOU doing to fight UN Agenda 21 in your district?

Consider

Things do take time. The group consciousness isn't a light switch.

Weren't you asleep like the rest of us before you woke up ?
Look at how many media persons are now loudly talking of this crime that previously would have thought it ludicrous.

The process of waking up is different for the many.

This has struck a nerve, and it's bigger than big.

Look at abused wives, how many beatings before they realized what the truth was. It's the same for the larger group mind.

They now see their 'government husband' to be a wife beater.

The wake up was always going to happen when the money ran out, never before. Whistleblowing have been going on for decades. The transition is happening now.

In my journey to awareness,

I discovered that the media often creates a storm in a tea cup to distract from the real issues, a media "smoke and Mirrors"
What exactly has Snowdon reveled? Who was behind 911? That Dick Cheney is a pedophile? That the supreme court takes bribes and can trace every one of them. that Monsanto is aware of the huge damage of it's products, but doesn't give a toss?
None of the above!
There is no content.

I considered the angle you

I considered the angle you speak of for both Snowden and Assange. The problem with that theory is that were they spinning a tale about these rouge leakers, they are unwittingly romanticizing their plight and perhaps egging on other would-be leakers to come forth...not something I think the regime wants to do. It would be a different story if they held a modern day tribunal or town square hanging that would scare and dissuade the lemmings, but this situation is raising awareness with the sleeping masses about the surveillance state and government criminality and hypocrisy...something the g'ment certainly doesn't want to call attention to. This is a PR nightmare for them and with every passing day they are appearing more like the Soviet KGB and Pravda. One more fallout for the g'ment is that they are losing their hold on their world domination over over contries alegiance and perception of the U.S. Is this the tipping point when the U.S. becomes the outright laughing stock of the world and no one heeds U.S. demands again?

If this is indeed, the tipping point,

and the US crumbles into humiliation, it's treasury robbed, her people broken, who will police the world then??
The UN, that's who. With the insulting wealth of the Military Industrial Complex who owns, or is in bed with BIG Everything else, the UN will become the Worlds policeman and conqueror.
None of what is going on is accidentle.
That's why I think Snowdon and Assange are willing pawns in the "game" of "Raping South America".

Liberty has achieved "critical mass".

Once you hear statements such as this and that of the Irish MP, you know the NWO and the elites are doomed.

Edward Snowden is a whistle

Edward Snowden is a whistle blower who has my 100% support. He's a hero of ours for daring to show what the power structure desperately wanted to keep hidden.

Where the heck is Snowden?

I bet you he's somewhere in America by now -- the last place the CIA would be looking for him. He's probably got a face life, new eyes, a completely new ID, money stashed away to last for years, and staying busy staying off the radar.

You know he totally predicted this response by the gov't. No telling where he is, I just hope that he is safe and prospering.

South America...beware

Based on leaks from the 2013 Bilderberg Group meeting hosted at the Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire, England, South America's "Problem" countries and leaders will be reined in. Better put. they are in the crosshairs of the NWO and the elites. Of course the US will do all the dirty work.

An initial test was initiated with the recent Brazill Riots, other plans soon to come about. South American countries that have moved towards liberty and freedom are in great danger, especially Ecuador with the speculation Snowden may seek asylum there. Ecuador Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino speaks of the things we all hope for, but by doing so you put yourself at odds with the world powers that be.

Beware South America, it starts once again.

Last bastion

David Gregory and all the other Government puppets that call yourselves "journalists",
it looks like America isn't the last bastion for freedom and human rights in the world.
I can't wait to see your report on this statement by Ecuador's FM.

Me thinks I'm moving to

Me thinks I'm moving to Equador. Human rights, what a concept!

If you walk blindly through life, you will run into a lot of walls.

Human rights in Ecuador?

What a joke!

Bravo

A speaker of truth. It's all about the connected elites and keeping their corporations rolling in debt funded military spending.

Ecuador my second home

I am living in Ecuador right now and will be living here most of the year. We appreciate what our government is doing to stand up to the bullies out there. Our President is a very deep-thinking person who has stood up to the U.S. for awhile now.

Our President just posted this on Facebook this morning.
"Hola país y el mundo. Para variar, otra semana complicada. Tengan la seguridad de que analizaremos muy responsablemente el caso Snowden y tomaremos con absoluta soberanía la decisión que creamos más adecuada. Un fuerte abrazo a todos y feliz semana."

Hi country and the world. For a change, another difficult week. Rest assured that we will discuss very responsibly the Snowden case and will make with absolute sovereignty a decision that we believe to be most appropriate. A big hug to all and happy week.

Interesting times.

The leadership there better watch out.

If they keep it up, they'll be the focus of a "humanitarian operation" brought to them by our friendly U.S. military, who take their orders from the Federal Reserve System crime families.

Wow, this FM is awake and not afraid to speak out.

Like Snowden, Ricardo Patino must be a Ron Paul supporter, too!

Liberty Begins In Equador

Bravo Mr. Patino

Does Equador accept

ALL ex-pats from the US?
Just making a list of places to retire to.

Thank you, Mr. Patino.

This should be translated worldwide.

Perhaps Icelandic is priority. Who knows at this point?
