Rand Paul/Sarah Palin 2016 ?

Hillary Clinton is going to run for president in 2016. That is no big secret to anyone. Rand Paul is going to run for president in 2016 too, and that's no big secret either.

Just like it is no big secret that woman vote more than men in the United States.

Many African Americans voted for Obama because of his skin color.

Many women are going to vote for Hillary because of her gender.

The content of their character aside, race and gender alone still have profound political influences in America today.

If women vote for Hillary as much as African Americans voted for Obama, the GOP will have no chance in 2016.

But why did the GOP bring Sarah Palin in to the political picture back in 2008 as John McCain's running mate (of all people?)

To get a head start? Hillary is next in line, and she's been patiently waiting her turn.

Who in the republican party can refute her without sounding like Joe Biden to over half of our voting population?

The Mother of the GOP, Sarah Palin. She is the strongest conservative female political leader of anyone I can remember since Margaret Thatcher.

That's not funny. Stop it.

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but an irate tireless few keen on setting the brushfire of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

just in case you have forgotten, it has been much worse.....

oh yeah....

oh for the love of God!

I'll pass on the identity politics

While I would be pleased to see a woman VP or President for that matter, I will never vote for someone based on their sex, race, religion, etc.

Of course YOU wouldn't. You are an intelligent person.

But.... just look at the candidates for US President over the past couple of decades and note the winners in each election. Says a lot about the average voter.

No just no

the reasons are self evident.

also, Hillary dug her own grave with Benghazi. There is way too much to use against her there. She won't fly.

Take away her good looks

If you took away her good looks, would you be impressed with her intelligence, her ideas, her speaking ability, her guiding principles, her sense of history or economics, her ideas on government, her resume, or even her morality?

I don't think I would be impressed. IMO.

I know now

I'll need a Cialis tonight. Give me some Tina Fey instead.

Draft Kucinich

for VP. That's all I have to say about that.

Deport Kucinich

Hell is waiting for him gates wide open.

Pearly =/+/- Fire

Dennis has much to be desired concerning social ideology. But he does stand for Civil Liberties.

Granger, what - (negative) number is your goal?

I don't agree

RIP Jack Herer and Dr. Tim White, Kucinich kills activists.

If Kucinich actually stood for civil liberties he would have left the activists of CA Health and hemp Inniative alone. Instead, as if CA doesn't have enough voices, his wife Elizabeth spends some of her frequent flier miles to send NH Clayton Holton to CA, and DUMPED HIM here, so the activists, like Jack Herer and Dr Tim White had to support him, could not work on their inniative and they died trying to help Clayton. Where was Kucinich?

This was the group I was working with when I found out about Ron Paul. WE ALL supported Ron Paul\.. I had been working with Jack since 1993.. note we had a long way to go before Nov election.. but CCHHI died, THANKS TO KUCINICH and his brilliant idea of dumping Clayton Horton on us.

So, that's it for me with Kucinich..

My goal is to educate people about what freedom is and to turn to Israel for solutions. Israel has it right.

Palin doesn't help broaden the platform...

Rand is already a Tea Party superstar. Palin being a Tea Partier, doesn't help broaden Rand's appeal.

I don't know who would be good. But someone who's constitutionally-minded and has integrity from the liberal side would be a game changer... a Kucinich/Ventura-type of person. Kucinich himself wouldn't work as he is a dem and I'd rather Ventura be head of DoD than VP.

Picking VP is tough. I'm sure Ron Paul has someone in mind having done this a couple times. Actually Ron Paul would be perfect if he wasn't Rand's father : \

If Kucinich

ran VP, that would bring aboard some dems.

I am not concerned either way, we have other work to do. Without good senators and reps, a lot of it becomes moot.

Palin is a proven loser and a quitter.

I would rather see Rand endorse another neocon like Romney this year than this possibility. Palin herself said it best: This would be like lipstick on a pig. Rand can do much better.

Haaa, made me think of this quote

Putin referring to the Snowden affair: "I don't need it". "Its like shearing a pig, a lot of squealing but very little wool.."

"One resists the invasion of armies; one does not resist the invasion of ideas" Victor Hugo

Half-term Governor = Quitter

Plus she is the dimmest bulb in the box. My pick: Lt. Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski.

"One resists the invasion of armies; one does not resist the invasion of ideas" Victor Hugo

Now THAT's the best idea I've seen yet!

Lt. Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski would bring intelligence, truth, and dignity back to the VP slot. She's a good speaker and carries herself very well.

As far as I'm concerned, if there has to be a woman in that slot, she's the only way to go. Karen Kwiatkowski could outclass Hillary in a heartbeat! (As opposed to Palin, who would look even worse up against Hillary than Tina Fey portrayed her.)

The Lt. Colonel penned these. The reports were released by former Lt. Colonel David Hackworth: http://www.hackworth.com/dt_archive.html

Are you telling us that she's Deep Throat?

No, not the Nixon era one. The one on that site. How do you know?

She identified herself after retiring

Kwiatkowski is good friends with Hackworth.

Articulate, Intelligent, Libertarian

The Lt. Colonel is amazing. I personally believe she also outclasses Rand Paul because of her foreign policy background.

She would ruin Clinton in a debate. It will be hard for a man to take the gloves off, but Karen would be able to throw body-blows all day long and not be judged negatively for it.

BTW - Kwiatkowski has been labeled a pentagon whistleblower. She is a courageous & accomplished woman: retired Airforce, former NSA & whistleblower, professor, farmer / entrepreneur.

Every time that woman opens her mouth,

I get mesmerized. Thanks for the link, Colorado Sean! Karen Kwiatkowski is so knowledgeable that she can communicate extemporaneously and make soooo much sense! The more I hear her, the more I love her.

Last time I checked (2 days

Last time I checked (2 days ago) Sarah Palin is not a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. I've never seen a picture of her at the Bohemian Grove, and she has never attended a Bilderberg Group meeting.

People judge her because she allied herself with John McCain five years ago.

That was then, and this is now.

Have we forgotten how Sarah Palin supported Ron Paul!!!!!!!!!!!

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

No, we haven't forgotten, but...

...you evidently have.

She endorsed Gingrich.

She admits she learned a lot from Ron Paul, then she turned

around and endorsed Gingrich. That's what makes it all the more vile.

Palin will discredit any movement she is associated with, no doubt Bill Kristol is behind this move to rebrand her as some sort of Libertarian.
