Rand Paul/Sarah Palin 2016 ?

Hillary Clinton is going to run for president in 2016. That is no big secret to anyone. Rand Paul is going to run for president in 2016 too, and that's no big secret either.

Just like it is no big secret that woman vote more than men in the United States.

Many African Americans voted for Obama because of his skin color.

Many women are going to vote for Hillary because of her gender.

The content of their character aside, race and gender alone still have profound political influences in America today.

If women vote for Hillary as much as African Americans voted for Obama, the GOP will have no chance in 2016.

But why did the GOP bring Sarah Palin in to the political picture back in 2008 as John McCain's running mate (of all people?)

To get a head start? Hillary is next in line, and she's been patiently waiting her turn.

Who in the republican party can refute her without sounding like Joe Biden to over half of our voting population?

The Mother of the GOP, Sarah Palin. She is the strongest conservative female political leader of anyone I can remember since Margaret Thatcher.

have to disagree

She has 3.5 million Facebook fans and growing, no other Republican comes close.

You can repeat what the media says, like they did with Ron Paul or you can fight the media and push truth.

What's the truth?

That she said she had foreign policy experience because Alaska borders Russia. She won't be taken seriously. I believe she actually hurt McCain.

Like I said she is popular, no doubt about it, but so was Pamela Anderson and Brittney Spears, doesn't mean any of them should run the country.

actually she said

she was the only Governor that received regular national security updates because of her proximity to Russia. And because of that she had more foreign policy experience than Obama, which was totally correct.

Totally true, what you are repeating is what SNL said, but thats not what Palin said.

Truth?

You mean like the truth that Sarah "semi-retarded' Palin is a Neocon/Warmonger/Fascist/Fox News Whore/Bankster Callgirl who thinks she can exorcize witches out of people?

That Sarah Palin? You do realize they picked her because it was planned for Obama to win and they wanted to at least create a sideshow.

Some of us who are not loyal to "the party" see through her just as we saw through Romney, Bush, etc... Sorry you don't, but hey, we can't all be awake. You should try it though - it is very refreshing.

Speaking as an Alaskan

I have always respected the Sarah. I have had short conversations with her twice, including once as Governor. She is a pleasant "down to earth" woman and easy to talk to (or was). She and her husband have strong libertarian streaks. The MSM (Ministry of Misinformation) has always painted her as a ditzy character. Then they always painted Ron Paul as a "cook" among other negative terms. About her "support" of the war? Keep in mind her son was serving in the Armed Forces back in '08, and if she did not say the "right" things, he might have found an IED while in the Middle East. About McInsane selecting her? It was either to make sure Obama won (not knowing she would become so popular), or it was a last gasp to save his floundering campaign. Should we be careful about her? Absolutely! As we should with everybody running for office. Though a Rand Paul/Sarah Palin ticket might not be perfect, it is far, far, far better than the choices made available to us the past 2 decades. That ticket would have my support.

Liberty is on the march, tyranny is on the run!

No Way...

It may seem fine in theory, but neither she or Michelle Bachmann are very well respected by the overall population. They've made too many flubs, and they haven't historically stood for the message of liberty. Also, McCain tried this out in '08 and that didn't work out so well. We have to set a higher standard than "woman" or "minority" for candidates if we want to be respected.

No to Bachman either.

Agreed

Tina Fey ended Sarah Palin

I like a Rand/Rubio ticket along with a Dennis Kucinich/Ron Paul ticket in the Democrat race.

I'd prefer Nikki Haley, Kristi Noem, Susanna Martinez, or even Bachman over Palin to combat Hillary.

So you're in favor of Allinsky-style attacks, then?

SNL's attacks on Sarah Palin were straight out of Rules for Radicals.

SNL makes fun of the easy to make fun of

And they happened to have a funny lady that looked just like Palin. And come on, Sarah Palin is already a walking joke. If I wrote for SNL I'd still be making fun of her.
"Which papers do you read?"
"Oh, all of them"
Classic. You can't really think that woman or the zombie commie she was linked-up with would have done anything different than Obama unless you think FOX news is actually fair and balanced.

I only have one rule: Win

50% of America never took Sarah Palin seriously again after that SNL skit.

The truth sucks sometimes.

Agreed

Not always fun, but no one will take Sarah seriously again. Also, your ticket choices for above... ya know... the comment that has been collapsed.... I see where ya are coming from there.

I thought everyone loved that SNL skit lol

I would love to see how many votes Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich could get in the Democratic primary.

Imagine Rand Paul V Ron Paul in November 2016... my head just exploded.
