Advice From Arizona Senator Goldwater to Current Senator Of Arizona Mccain

In 1964, a then Arizona Senator Goldwater, gave his acceptance speech for the Republican nomination for the President of the United States. In the presidential election, Democrat Presidential Candidate Lyndon B. Johnson defeated Goldwater.

As an Arizona who recently re-watched Senator Goldwater’s address, I can only hope Arizona once again gets the chance to elect a man of similar stature, one of opposing views to the paste Senator Jon Kyle & current Senator of Arizona, Mccain, whom find glory in writing, supporting, and sponsoring legislation and agendas such as the Patriot Act, NDAA section 1021 & 1022, the drone war, gun control, and the FISA-NSA surveillance state.

Mr. Mccain, take some much needed advice from a true Arizonan Senator, Senator Goldwater...

I don't know what to think.

These two speeches describe a time of cross roads in America. But it's been up for 4 hours and has 5 upvotes.

I think it's obvious that turning America around is no longer possible. We will have to crash.

The propaganda that went full force in the 60's has done incredible damage to the minds of Americans. Most have been defeated from understanding even simple logic.

That said, the remnant that is growing and educating other become all the more important.

Thank you Michael N., and all of the contributors writing for Liberty on Daily Paul!

And I get downvoted with no comment.

Makes my point.

Well the down votes have been removed.

I couldn't care less about Upvotes and Downvotes.

It's obvious that the same person that placed them, has removed them. And was afraid to reply.

I stand by the fact that people still want the government to protect them, even on this board.

Only a crash of epic proportions will wake people up.

Downvote this, but tell me why I'm wrong when you do.

I Was 14 When Barry Goldwater Gave His Famous Speech...

I remember all the campaign adds Johnson ran against Barry depicting him as having an "Itchy" finger on the red button, including graphic pics of the mushroom cloud after an atomic blast..

It was those adds and repeated mantras of being trigger happy from a guy who was a retired air force colonel, and a distinguished military career.

It was really pathetic to see how dumbed down the american people were then and still are today.

"If America is going to wake up, they had better hurry" ~ "E"

Reagan's speech

in support of Goldwater was pretty epic too.
