Restaurant in Wisconsin takes pre-1965 silver coins.Submitted by ramicio on Fri, 06/28/2013 - 12:46
I wonder how they do the values that aren't rounded to fives. Pennies have always been pennies before 1982.5. Their content has always been the same and they're only worth twice face value. I wonder if they take war nickels and silver eagles. I personally think using silver at face value is retarded. The dollars had more silver per face value than dimes, quarters, and halves. War nickels are also a higher yield of metallic worth than it's face value compared to the other coins. And a silver eagle, hell that's really unfair if one of those and a Morgan are going to be worth the same.
