Don't Mistake

I saw the post about the relevancy of Montana, and that's absolutely true. With our late primary, and a recent switch from a true caucus to a caucus/primary state, our relevancy is even lessened. Regardless, it's my home and I'm interested in news from here.

I want people to realize something about MT. Having been heavily involved in the 2012 run for Ron Paul, where we secured almost 46% of the state convention delegates for Ron Paul in the wake of Rand endorsing Romney, that it really doesn't matter what our polls say. We've got powerful neo-con forces in our state GOP and they're not taking kindly to our presence. They're a sheisty bunch of folks, with little or no regard to law, fairness, the will of the people or even winning elections. Our state chairman is literally on record saying, "We don't need the Ron Paul people." And promptly thereafter, they lost two major (and critical) elections to the margins of the libertarian vote. They want to blame these losses on us (and some grand conspiracy that doesn't exist) and not their ineptitude at running a party that welcomes all conservative thought.

We've made great strides recently, but it's still an uphill battle. I'm hoping 2016 might just be the year where we gain terminal velocity and can steamroll right through the conventions. If we can keep it together, that's very much how it's going to roll.

Upgraded version perhaps? ;)

Looking forward to the new threads nevertheless :P

Good For Rand

BUT if Chuck Connors were around today I would think many would consider him :)

I think he was one of the first people to play both pro baseball and pro basketball.

In GOP primary, Only 4 states matter.

They are:

Iowa
New Hampshire
South Carolina
Florida

If you've been doing this with me since 2007, THAT is the big lesson that you've learned. Whoever rolls out of those 4 states with big wins, the rest of the GOP electorate then "don't want to waste their vote" and then come "Super Tuesday", they all get in line to vote for the GOP "Front Runner". Then after that, everyone pines for the General election and so the "front runner" rolls on to victory. So, in the GOP primary race, only those 4 states matter.

Now, come election time, other states matter in the General Election, Texas, California, New York, Ohio, etc.

So, how is Rand polling in those 4 GOP primary states? He must be thought of as the "frontrunner" in those state even BEFORE the race begins. That is where our work must focus. Now all that the Paul team needs to do is call on the grassroots.... but I suspect that Rand will steer christian right, pro-israel, and make sure he gains the former Santorum/Huckabee voter (10 times bigger than us liberty voters). And if he loses half of his grassroots liberty voters, he knows he may gain half of them back again come General Election time. Why? Cause come General Election time he will steer center Left, pro civil liberties Left. In so doing, he can outflank a DNC candidate by decrying Obama "fine words and dangerous actions" and saying, "We heard this all before, but what did we get? A police state. Nobody wants that". He can take the massive middle voter in the great bell curve.

Let us know how he's polling in the early 4 GOP states...

Thanks,

Treg

C'mon Santorum..

you're in there buddy!

The 2016 Republican ' Front Runner ' Will Be Jeb Bush

I sincerely hope I'm DEAD WRONG about this but...

All but Cruz and Rand are establishment candidates and they normally flow to to the establishment candidate ('Front Runner')

Rand Paul may poll as high as 46% in fair fight, but Jeb Bush has deep pockets, name recognition and huge political and banking ties..

** Advantage Jeb Bush

*** Only if the controlled media doesn't impose a 'BlackOut' on Rand Paul and he is allowed a good share of TV debate time, will we see a real constitutional conservative in the White House..

NCMarc's picture

must have been an anomaly

must have been an anomaly let's re-do that polling only people who voted for Mitt Romney last election.

clustering

how do they those votes add into groups of neo-con vs liberty?
Liberty 33% = Ted and Rand
Neo con 67% = All others

baby brother Bush in 2nd...

...place is all I need to see. Wow, talk about a Crime family having the FIX in!! (Even have "mommma-bush" throwing out "too many Bushes already" quotes; disgusting.)

Ron Paul led this too

and lost.

It doesnt matter. It only matters to those that dont understand the system will never allow it.

There are 4 ineligible candidates in the list

and they are Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal and Rick Santorum. None meets the definition of natural born citizen as recognized as binding precedent in Minor v. Happersett.

A natural born citizen is one born in a country of parents who are its citizens.

Ted Cruz - born in Canada to a U.S. citizen mother and a Cuban father
Marco Rubio - born in the U.S. to non-citizen parents
Bobby Jindal - born in the U.S. to non-citizen parents
Rick Santorum - born in the U.S. to a non-citizen father

How Bout The One In The White House

BOOM!!

Of course

the one in the White House is not eligible, whoever he is.

If we can go by Obama's fraudulent birth certificate, he is not a natural born citizen because his father was never a citizen.

But if his real birth certificate shows a U.S. born father, then what?

Will be the flavor of the day.

We here in Montana

Whereabouts in MT are you from?

I live in NW Montana in a tourist/ski town called Whitefish. It is gorgeous but we have the same problem with Californians
