Sorry but I disagree, and I think a lot of others will to.

Defunding or getting rid of the NSA is a bad idea. The NSA is an arm of the DOD and it is supposed to be the foreign intelligence arm of the DOD. Emphasis on Foreign. You can have a intelligence agency that doesn't break our fourth amendments rights and still protects us from danger.

Ron Paul - Intellectual hero

Watch V for Vendetta and realize all surveliance and governments

are horrific for freedom and humanity.

We Can Protect Ourselves From Danger

Government's job is to keep us free, not to keep us safe.

Rand doesn't get this straight enough. He often says that defense is the #1 job of the federal government. I disagree.

Preserve our 2nd Amendment rights and let us take care of our own safety.

Part of keeping us free is keeping us free from foreign threats

That doesn't mean that the constitution can be trashed in the name of security.

But Rand is correct when he says that National Defense is one of the few legitimate functions of the Federal Government.

Rand Needs To Be A Little Bolder On This Issue

He's always been strong on the Fourth Amendment. Now's the time for him to get out in front of the issue. Death to the NSA and the TSA.

Fire them all.

+1

I think this should be Rand's primary issue for 2016

No candidate will run on that pledge.

Ron Paul maybe but no one else.
Most people think the NSA keeps us safe.

2016

I think he has to.

If he doesn't, there will be general election candidates who are superior to him (libertarian, constitution, etc) that will draw votes away.
