Relying on Consumer Sentiment for Economic Recovery is Futile

Last week we noted that Consumer Sentiment is a poor economic indicator. Consumer sentiment is up despite a rash of economic reports indicating that the consumer’s positive outlook is Panglossinan.

Seems like consumers have bought into the media’s incessant recovery mantra.
