"Henderson police arrested a family for refusing to let officers use their homes as lookouts for a dom. violence investigation"

"Henderson [Nevada, USA] police arrested a family for refusing to let officers use their homes as lookouts for a domestic violence investigation of their neighbors, the family claims in court. . . . The Mitchell family's claim includes Third Amendment violations, a rare claim in the United States."

We have to wake these sleepers up, soon it will be too late.

If McDonald's has to pay for dummies spilling hot coffee, I hope the plaintiffs can squeeze every cent from these goose stepping usurpers.

I'll take my Liberty, it's not yours to give.

I see in the movies police commandeer cars but a home?

I recently found this website:

I don't agree with everything posted here, but it's a pretty good run down of the consequences to civilians when police officers violate the law.

Indeed. this does seem to be overkill but

cops are getting more aggressive and overstepping their "so called" authority (Boston was a perfect example of stupid Sheeple letting tyranny enter and take) and need to be put back in their place as the public servants they are, not NAZIS.

The Third Amendment (Amendment III) to the United States Constitution is a part of the United States Bill of Rights. It was introduced on September 5, 1789, and then three quarters of the states ratified this as well as 9 other amendments on December 15, 1791. It prohibits, in peacetime or wartime, the quartering of soldiers in private homes without the owner's consent.

No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law

If this story is true then, what "Lawmanjed" said is what it will take to; protect and preserve our Constitutional rights, ie the enforcement of them by the community... aka... "We the People".
If "We the People" don't start using force to protect our Constitutional rights against the people using force to take them away, then, those people taking, will continue to take and take.
"We the People" MUST NOT let that happen!
What we need is stories of people that have had enough and ARE Not taking it any more.

This.. is.. so.. abusive..

This.. is.. so.. abusive.. it is almost unbelievable. The jury should be shocked about how these cops abuse their power.. I hope they go to jail for a long time to over-think their wrongdoings. But that might be wishful thinking..

A Good Jury

Would award the family an amount that would effectively bankrupt that corrupt city.

I'd prefer to see the

I'd prefer to see the officers involved lose their qualified immunity status so that they can be personally targeted through lawsuits and let them, the bad cops, be the ones who are bankrupted.

Really cops?!? Assaulting an individual and family with deadly force, invading his property, to gain 'tactical advantage' on a neighbors domestic violence situation? I hope this story is fake somehow if not I hope these dangerous pigs spend a large remainder of their natural lives behind bars. Violent individuals like these are the true threats to society prisons were made for. Are there any real police left in America to go after these criminals?

Lemme see if I got this straight...

The police used a battering ram on an uninvolved neighbor's residence and attack him simply for not letting them in, but yet they wanted to negotiate with the domestic violence suspect they were after in the first place?

Pigs; disgusting, subhuman

Pigs; disgusting, subhuman swine. There is a special place in hell for pigs who abuse their power and these creatures are headed there.

Yes, absolutely

Warning to all LE...

Try this $hit with me and the first ones in die...

I'm not f---ing kidding...

You try to invade my home, & assault me... I'll kill your a$$

This is still America last I checked and people have the right to defend themselves from lawless home-invaders, no matter what kind of clothes they are wearing... whether they be street clothes, blue uniforms, or camo's... I don't intend on waiting until court to see my rights upheld. And it's a gamble in court at that.

Waste a few of these tyrannical law-breaking, kid-napping, criminal pigs and they'll start to remember the constitution pretty quick. I'm telling ya'll, it's the only way back to freedom.

At the end of it all, the only right from the constitution we will have is the ability to drink alcohol...
An interesting graphic would be to have the consitution laid out and then color coded according to how much infringment has occured on it, or each section faded according to how far gone it is. Not sure what the scale would be though but there are 256 shades of red on the standard color map.(same for making it transparent)

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

Quartering troops eh?

What "these people" fail to understand is that they are the new redcoats.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

I guess I'd be arrested, too...

I guess I'd be arrested, too, because there is no way in hell that I would allow the cops to use my property for a domestic violence investigation...or any investigation, for that matter.

end of the case

I do read here from time to time about violations of the law by the police. There are very little follow up. Case seems to be simple and I would expect to read about the conviction and the verdict soon.

Sic Semper Evello Mortem Tyrannis

that is the latin quote on the seal/symbol for a cannabis legalization advocacy group called People Opposing Tyranny... P.O.T.

- "You're either a P.O.T. or a P.E.T. (People Embracing Tyranny)"

We are also constitutional conservative, free-market / libertarians and strongly supported Ron Paul in 2012. We want total de-regulation and the government out of cannabis' business entirely.

I saw your name is MMJ Ministry and made the connection.

Well there goes the Third Amendment

Only if you let it go...

None of our Constitutional rights are guaranteed. They require the enforcement of them by the community... aka... We the People... aka.. YOU the individual American citizen... the 2nd Amendment being the method our founders gave us to enforce the entire constitution...
