Obama Snubs The Marine Corps & Navy, "No Fireworks For You!"

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Military veterans are upset after the annual Camp Lejeune fireworks show for military members and their families was cut.

What makes it even worse: A Pittsburgh area company offered to do the show for free, but the government said, thanks, but no thanks.

The military says the show meant for more than 47-thousand Marines and Sailors was cancelled due to federal cutbacks....

The president of the United States just gave the Navy and Marine Corps the royal salute.

This political snub is perhaps the most disrespectful thing Obama has ever done. There is absolutely no excuse for it.

47,000 Marines, Sailors and their families could have paid for the, "additional costs," for less than $1 a person.

Obama didn't want it to happen, for a reason.

This is a clear signal being sent from Washington that will not be ignored or go unnoticed by the military.

Sometimes it's the little things that matter most. These Sailors and Marines have risked their lives for our country, and now their Commander in Chief is thumbing his nose at them.

He's not my president.

Under Obama's first term of rule, American service members suffered more casualties than George W. Bush's 8 years in office combined.

American veterans have sacrificed and suffered more under Obama than Bush, and now they can't even watch fireworks on the 4th of July because Barry has a political ax to grind.

I call him Barry, or Obama and hesitate to call him the president because I have respect for the rule of law under the Constitution and the presidency of the United States.

I think it is disrespectful to those who have served and died to call him, "President Obama."
