Rick Perry is likely to run again for governor of Texas, reports a columnist for The New York Times.

Ross Ramsey, managing editor of the Texas Tribune and a regular contributor to The Times, says that Perry has been hinting about a possible 2014 run. Given Perry's history of running for everything he has said he'd run for, it's likely he will seek a fourth term as Texas governor. Ramsey suggests that Perry, if the GOP were to lose the 2012 race against President Barack Obama, would make a 2016 run for the White House.

Can Rick Perry even count to 4?

Not sure who is dumber, Rick Perry himself or the people that would put him in any position of power.

Be patient. The curtains are in. Needs a little concrete patch.

We can have it ready before the sheriff's bus gets here. This cell is large enough to accommodate an X-Governor's needs: desk, leather high-back chair, open floor area to pace back & forth. High ceiling is yet another bonus feature.

First (of 50) customer reviews: Absorbing study of the last omnipotent urban Democratic boss, August 22, 2000
By Richard E. Hegner

Review ~ American Pharaoh Masterful piece of investigative journalism and a captivating political biography... Almost like Finley Peter Dunne's MISTER DOOLEY--which it often quotes, this volume takes you inside the Chicago Democratic machine and shows just how omnipotent the organization was during Daley's tenure at the helm, ... occasional touch of humor and irony. As its subtitle promises, the book also places Daley and his machine in the context of national (and Illinois) politics, where they had such enormous influence...

... Portrait of Daley shows his enormous personal complexity - a devout Catholic and loyal family man... engaged in the most bare-fisted power politics or work to capitalize on the basest human instincts... accomplishments includde preservation of Downtown Chicago as a going concern when so many other rust belt cities in the Midwest and Great Lakes area were going under (e.g., Detroit, St. Louis, Cleveland, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh). Enormous price... tensions in Chicago.

Dr. Paul, once more unto the breach.

We need you to save the day, once again. This state cannot take another four years of Perry. You are the only one with name recognition and enough wisdom to win.

LOL

Rick doesn't understand that the world has changed.

I have had it with Rick The Globalist Prick Perry!

Come on Debra Medina 2014!

Ms. Medina is running for Comptroller. Like a tax-collector.

Dr. Paul should run for governor with Ms. Medina as Lt. Governor. In Texas the Lt. Governor is very powerful while the Governor is mostly a public relations position, albeit very high-profile. The main power the governor has is in appointing individuals to governing boards; i.e. The Board of Regents for public universities.

The governor position in Texas has been kept weak going back to the Reconstruction period of the post-Civil War era.

Oops

:)

On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moron.
