The Hill: Rand Paul blasts 'neocons' for backing 'military junta' in Egypt

By Justin Sink - 07/08/13

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Monday blasted neoconservatives for supporting a "military junta" in Egypt and argued the United States should cut off foreign aid to the country.

The tweets come on the heels of a weekend op-ed Paul penned for The Washington Times, in which the senator — who has hinted at a 2016 presidential run — bemoaned that "American tax dollars flow no matter which despot rules" in the nation.

And this is the man some people want to denigrate and say, "I can't stand with Rand" because he has this foible and that minor imperfection, and a bad hairdo, and some lint on his collar, and anything else we can rake muck about.

Well, I stand with Rand!

My thanks go to the Paul family for their on-going service to our country and to Liberty.

don't put everybody

who has some differences with the senator in the same boat. i've read plenty of thoughtful critiques on him here and to my mind that is a healthy thing. sure there are evil trolls, but they pop up on most any topic.
i would imagine everyone here at DP stands with rand on this issue.

Lol, excellent!

Thanks LL I can always depend on you to brighten my day.
