Doctors under contract with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation sterilized nearly 150 female inmates from 2006 to 2010 without required state approvals, the Center for Investigative Reporting has found.

At least 148 women received tubal ligations in violation of prison rules during those five years – and there are perhaps 100 more dating back to the late 1990s, according to state documents and interviews.

From 1997 to 2010, the state paid doctors $147,460 to perform the procedure, according to a database of contracted medical services for state prisoners.

start feeding them all GMO food

the population in America is going to be sterile from eating this crap within 1 or 2 generations.

Gold standard: because man can not be trusted to control his greed

Yet GM food is ubiquitious and so is reproduction!

Weird?! Shouldn't fertility be rapidly declining if your claims had any merit whatsoever?!

But are births on the increase in USA?

Maybe not: http://www.truthistreason.net/children-of-the-corn-gmo-steri...

Here is the problem with brain deaders you expect to see people die with a GMO label on their forehead before you suspect GMO's at all. Ever since GMO's came on the market autism is up from 1 in 20,000 to 1 in 100 births. Here in the Red River valley in Minnesota child IQ's are the lowest in the nation, and have the highest autism rate. They use Roundup there more than any other place in the world.

diabetes is up 30%, Alzheimers is up 9000%, parkinsons disease is up as well as many other autoimmune diseases.

But then maybe it's all in the plan, eat your GMO's get on Obamacare and shut up and die before you collect social security.

Coming soon: substitute euthanized for sterilized

The slippery slope is getting slipperier all of the time.
"Due" process" has become "do" process.

The physicians involved would have had to obtain "informed consent" for any procedure. This is called the standard of care. How was this required consent process by-passed? These physicians are in deep do-do if there was no informed consent obtained for these operations.

The USA has had an

on going eugenics program since 1907. It went underground for a while, after the Nazi's based their own eugenics program on the US one, and the world was outraged.
Planned parenthood, (Bill Gates father, William) modern abortion and sterilisation has made eugenics go off the radar. But it is still there.

this is true--

it's been happening all along; it has happened with mental patients, minorities, etc.--

sometimes even with innocent people who end up in hospitals whose parents have physical or mental problems--

it is so much more common than most people realize, but those who have had it happen to them are often afraid to speak up--

because they are not believed.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Welfare State nightmare *~*

This wouldn't be an issue if the welfare state didn't exist. It's sad that people genuinely want to help others, including the children of inmates, so public money is extracted and spent on them. Then the inmates do not feel pressure to be more responsible, so they continue in their irresponsible, criminal ways. Eventually, the burden of caring for these children and the women becomes too much, so those bearing the burden feel justified in pressured sterilization. (Of course, one always has to take what criminals say with a grain of salt. They have an interest in coming across as the victims. Then again, we can't take what those in authority have to say for granted, either, because they also have an interest in coming across as completely right in their actions.)

What could be the best way to start solving this problem? Right now, I think the best way to solve this problem is through morality: have the inmates taught the gospel. Not the laisse-faire "do whatever you want, like Jesus and never complain about Him, and you'll be saved" kind of preaching, but the hardcore, more honest "you reap what you sow, no excuses" kind that demands actual repentance and change.

At the same time that this instilling of time-tested values is going on, laws need to change that make it easier for people to get and create jobs. That means fewer restrictions, less regulation, and fewer taxes.

Rather than fantasy, how about consequences?

The first issue with your suggestion is that of "choosing the correct religion". Rather than using an emotional crutch like religion to help these people who are making erroneous choices, it would seem to be more effective to teach them about consequences.

Basically, teaching them physics will help more than teaching them about the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Perhaps Ron Paul's home-schooling curriculum could be modified to be an inmate-schooling curriculum? I am completely serious, and hope to help.

I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.
