We Need to Re-Purpose the NSA Utah Data Center: We're not Asking, We're Telling the FedsSubmitted by Michaelwiseguy on Mon, 07/08/2013 - 19:23
Edward Snowden's work is not in vain. The mission now is to tell the Federal Government what to do with the NSA Utah Data Center and what we will accept be done with it. The physical site of the NSA Utah Data Center should be the focus of change of US spying policy. One way or another, we're gonna have the NSA operations in Utah shut down, and the site re-purposed.
Shutting down of the NSA Utah Data Center can be the symbol of the cure for American apathy on the federal government spying issue. It will give every hot blooded American something to do about it. People are not apathetic about being spied on by their own government, they do care and just need to be shown what they can do about it. Shutting down the Utah Data Center would be a great victory for the people.
Perhaps we could have a design contest? Turn it into a convention center, or an Aerospace Museum and Hotel Complex? No sense in destroying it, it's already built and paid for.
What are your suggestions, that we Americans are going to tell the federal government what to do, with the nearly complete decommissioned NSA government spying complex in Utah?
