Boycott Jack Hunter AKA the Southern Avenger

I grew up in Charleston, SC and since there were only a few bad radio stations that played alternative music, I was forced to listen to an embarrassing radio bit on 96 Wave from the "Southern Avenger" aka Jack Hunter as a teen in the 90's.

Just listening to the sound of this clowns voice makes me sick and I'm sad to say, Jack grew up in a bad part of Charleston known as Hanahan. We used to kick their ass in soccer.

Anyways , he is not a libertarian, he does not represent the ideals of southerners and why anybody would want to pay him money to write their book is beyond me (Rand).

If I ever saw him in person I think I would have to restrain my self from walking up to him and knocking his teeth down his scrawny throat.

I'm disappointed that this (expletive) was even invited to Ron Paul's recent BBQ.

I can see him sucking up to somebody like Newt Gingrich or Romney but what the effff is he doing with the libertarian movement???

Beat it, Jack!

I used to follow Hunter' blog

I used to follow Hunter' blog closely until he came out to defend Jesse Benton and cast stones at all the fringe supporters, calling us conspiracy theorists....IM SORRY, HAVE YOU SEEN OUR COUNTRY!?

Haven't listened to this gasbag since then...

This southerner grew up in a

This southerner grew up in a good neighborhood. I, like most southerners in my day, never played soccer. And Jack Hunter can speak for me. Also, I bet you're too much of a punk to knock anyone's teeth out. What a loser.

Boycott Soccer

and any thread from RonPaul4Prez2016 for trolling

Based on your thread you hate Hunter because you don't like his voice, he grew up in a poor neighborhood and his high school soccer team wasn't very good. You claim he isn't a libertarian but give no examples to back up your claim, and you say he doesn't speak for all southerners but can't quote him ever claiming to speak for all southerners. Compelling arguments if you are 12 years old.

Where to begin...

Your username says everything anyone really needs to know about you: totally delusional, hostile to anything that might remotely improve the chances of the liberty movement actually succeeding, probably some kind of auto-flagellating masochist who would actually be disappointed if we succeeded, since your identity hangs on being the underdog (which is actually just a rationalization for being a loser). Am I warm?

Translation: I'm a tough guy!

he is not a libertarian

Most members of this movements are not libertarians in the strictest sense. Jack fits right in, he is a libertarian-ish conservative, a constitutionalist, a paleo-conservative.

If I ever saw him in person I think I would have to restrain my self from walking up to him and knocking his teeth down his scrawny throat.

Translation: I'm a REALLY tough guy.

I'm disappointed that you were born, but this is an imperfect world...

Thanks for wasting my time.

LOL you dumb@ss

Why was this brought up today?

Tea Party Goes to Washington was written..... IN 2011

Jack Hunter blogged for Ron Paul in the 2012 campaign and was FEATURED on the RONPAUL2012 website for MONTHS.

It was well known that Jack co-wrote it....why was it not used then? Neocons are wolves in wolves clothing. They want to smear Rand right now that his arguments against Foreign Aid are winning.

This website is going to

This website is going to shit. We actually have people on here bashing Jack Hunter for what he said...even though none of it was remotely racist & all of it is identical to the exact same things that Ron Paul has said all of his career?

And, OP says "he's not a libertarian"...as if that's a huge fault. Ummm...hello, Ron Paul was only a "libertarian" for a few years buddy.

Jack Hunter did nothing wrong here. He doesn't deserve any bit of backlash from the liberty movement. We should be sticking up for him & stand by his side.

Also...i'd like to point out...people act like the mask thing is just unacceptable. But, if you know anything about Jack you know he's a HUGE wrestling fan & you'd realize the "Southern Avenger" was merely a character he essentially created as a homage to over the top wrestling characters. So, the whole mask complaint is null & void.

Hunter is a schmuck

He cares more about what the liberty movement looks like then the truth, he denies conspiracies happen, he is a fool.

I just think this is an empty argument

I hate Jack Hunter for other reasons.
Mainly when he teamed up with Austin Peterson, who I destroyed publicly in a facebook debate.
WE ALL KNOW they will try to co opt the movement, I am 75% sure he works for the other team.

Ron brought the Liberty movement together, Rand is expanding the crap out of it! :)

Jack is a Paleoconservative

Jack is a Paleoconservative not exactly a libertarian, he has supported Pat Buchanan, Ron Paul, and he voted for Michael Peroutka in 2004 (if you know who that is), Paleoconservatism and Libertarianism overlap.

as a side note, I remember when people on this site were BEGGING for Ron Paul too pick Jack Hunter up as a spokesman, how times change....

Yup

now, way to many Libtards in here...and kids with seemingly nothing to lose that think Luke from 'we are change' will get them to the White House before the country burns to the ground..
