Why doesnt Ron Paul post at DailyPaul?

Ron Paul is no longer in office. The grassroots here have been a rock for Ron Paul. He could post something about his new project and link to it. He could post a philosophical question and witness an intense debate. Same goes for the Judge, Ben Swann and Jack Hunter.

The point is, the grassroots hangs out here. This community is awesome. We come to the defense of every patriot. I see no reason why Ron Paul posting here a couple of times would do any kind of harm. It would certainly light the DailyPaul up and draw more people. The platform here could certainly be a great launching pad for any Liberty oriented project.

The DailyPaul gets more traffic than any other Liberty oriented site. Nystrom said it himself, if we want better content, then create it. It would be nice to see Ron Paul give a hat tip to our community.

Just my .02c :)

Why preach to the choir? The choir often posts his articles here anyway.

did someone say Ron Paul?

Now thats a name I haven't heard on this site in a while.

For Freedom!
The World is my country, all mankind is my brethren, to do good is my religion.

How do you know he doesn't?

How do you know he doesn't?

Sweet mother of Abraham Lincoln!

ARE YOU RON PAUL????

haha I wish.

"There is only one kind of freedom and that's individual liberty. Our lives come from our creator and our liberty comes from our creator. It has nothing to do with government granting it." -Ron Paul

Ron Paul addressed this a few years ago

I forget exactly what he said, but it was something like the Daily Paul had everything covered. We had every statement, news video, weekly address, everything. He didn't think there was anything else he could add.

Because that would be weird...

Posting to your own fan page would be... weird.

Ron Paul does post here

he buys advertizing.

Okay smart ass...

The one thing that is lacking that I have seen since 2007 is a lack of leadership. Ron Paul has not demonstrated to me that he wants to lead a damn thing.. and I mean it.

While I stand with Rand too, I also understand that sometimes duty calls and you must stand up. Rand is shrewder than his father. I get it. Ron also bears some of the responsibility whether he likes it or not.

What irritates the living shit out of me is the lack of leadership. Ron inspired a movement and should hold himself accountable for it. Leadership roles often suck ass. A good leader figures it out and speaks directly to his greatest allies. Motivates his greatest allies. Inspires them further.

Call me crazy.. but I haven't seen what I just described. Jussayin...

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Rand IS leading

Ron Paul led us into the GOP. I would have never joined the GOP if not for Ron Paul's leadership that got me there. I fully believe he led us onto the GOP FOR Rand.

And Rand IS leading.. want talking points? Look to Rand!

How about...

...justhinkin before jussayin?

RP is leading us the way he wants us to lead the rest of the world ... by example. Some people act like they never listened to a word he said. I agree that RP is our leader, the father of our movement, our bellwether and all that, but not in the same sense you seem to think he is. Unless we become militant we don't need an authoritative leader.

You say in another post how fun it would be. Yeah, because our entertainment is worth more than his credibility, right? If he started posting here, the only thing anyone outside the movement would hear about RP is that he hangs with conspiracy theorists, anti-semites, neo-Confederates, etc. Just to make something clear: I don't think questioning the official 9/11 and JFK stories (among many others) or wondering what goes on behind the scenes at think-tanks, Masonic lodges, redwood groves, etc. makes us conspiracy nuts; I don't think our issues with Zionists make us anti-semitic; and I don't think our aversion to Lincoln makes us racist. But they sure as Hell know how to make most people believe that shit and we need people gravitating towards the movement in the real world not just on the Web. We already dominate the Web. Maybe not in numbers, but our combination of quantity and quality makes us as formidable as any one.

Our mission is best served by RP staying far away from places like this, even though it's a great site to get news and keeping a thumb on the pulse of the liberty movement. I'm glad to see most people disagreeing with your idea.

Work for pay, pay for freedom
Fuck 'em all, we don't need 'em

Even though rp probably thinks this is a great site

(and it is a great site) the problem is he could post some truths then someone else could post a thread on how the jews are to blame and next thing you know the press would be saying rp hangs out with anti-semites.

Way too much crazy on here

Yep. He needs to stay very clear of this site.

They go with the highest

They go with the highest numbers of viewers.

Since time & energy are limited, they go with fb and twitter. When the DP surpasses other internet sites then surely they'll come here. Interestingly, Ron Paul is working on hyping up his own media platform.

I believe all three have at

I believe all three have at some point mentioned that they've visited the DP and have not shied away from saying positive things about it, but hey, one has only so much time and energy in life, and personally I'm in favor of all three of them spending maximum effort in spreading their messages beyond those who participate here.

That's correct. Ron Paul has visited here.

There's soooooo much posted

There's soooooo much posted here that could be clipped and reported by any MSM hatchet man to smear any politician who dared to associate himself with this site. Ron is out if office, but he has other projects and needs to maintain his credibility.

But isn't bad publicity better than no publicity?

Is it?

Haven't heard much about Ron Paul in the news as of late, though I haven't been following it either, other than to peek in here when I can.

If RP was in the news, it would be here.

I like the way you think.

Seems like it would be good for him and us, just a way to interact and have fun and learn together.

At my lone post (http://www.dailypaul.com/289707/going-to-private-dinner-with...), I am in the midst of having the RAND Paul campaign do some interaction with the DP. Though I haven't had 100% confirmation, I believe a rep from his staff will be posting answers to all the questions at the link I just provided. Stay tuned!

Isn't this the type of online activity you were thinking of?

yea

Maybe just a blog posting or a town hall type of thread.. I posted this just to see why. I know I would be stoked to see something from Ron from time to time.

I guess in the end.. I just want to hang out with him here! hahaa

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

A Lot of People

already think he's sort of a nut...if he starts coming on here....

Also

doesn't want to be connected to all the conspiracy theories as well

because he's a leader

Not a follower.

That is true...

and we are followers... hence the reason I posted this. :)

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

I disagree

for the same reason as when someone suggested Ron Paul buy the Daily Paul.

If he is actively involved it could become seen as "Ron Paul's" site, meaning people can dismiss the content as being biased by him. The way it is now it was created strictly grassroots and remains so. That's actually powerful, because there is no need to censor or spin anything. What you see is what you get.

He is starting RonPaulChannel.com so that will be plenty of Internet presence I think :)

Maybe I have been. ;)

Maybe I have been.
