Navy Drones - Brother, just all we need now!Submitted by cepivon on Wed, 07/10/2013 - 12:03
From the GUARDIAN reported today:
"The US navy will attempt to land a drone the size of a fighter jet aboard an aircraft carrier for the first time, showcasing the military's capability to have a computer program perform one of the most difficult tasks a pilot can be asked to do.
A successful landing of the X-47B experimental aircraft would mean the navy can move forward with plans to develop another unmanned aircraft that will join the fleet alongside traditional aeroplanes to provide around-the-clock surveillance while also possessing a strike capability.
The aircraft's success would pave the way for the US to launch unmanned aircraft without the need to obtain permission from other countries to use their bases."
It goes on--"Critics in the US and abroad claim that drone strikes cause widespread civilian deaths and are conducted with inadequate oversight. Defense analysts believe drones are the future of warfare.....
Developed by Northrop Grumman under a 2007 contract at a cost of $1.4bn (£940,000), the X-47B is capable of carrying weapons and is designed to be the forerunner for a drone program that will provide around-the-clock intelligence, surveillance and targeting, according to the navy."
You know, it's just not enough we have the world's strongest military power. No, we have to have TOTAL POWER over the entire world, to spy, to attack, to kill innocents & others with impunity. It's no wonder Obama announced today that he also wanted FEDS to spy on FEDS, and he made a law they would be prosecuted if they didn't report suspicious behavior. Can you imagine the ARROGANCE of it all!
The reflection of Obama is one of suspicion, indeed, and all his minions and he are reflections of the TOTAL OBSESSION with power that the World Control freaks have now. When people continuously lie, they become suspicious, eventually....of everyone around them. Watch and see all this unfold, because I know it will.
More whistleblowers, more Generals like Cartwright, will not be stopped. Something has started, something has begun. It's in the wind. It's coming, and as Edward Snowden said, "it cannot be stopped".
