Too funny.

Walmart contracts with government in many areas and now plays games with them.

No wonder Walmart is expanding as much as possible out of the US.

I think all Walmart stores will eventually be outsourced.

ie. they will be catalogue stores imo.

Fill in the paper and pick the item or items up in a couple of days.

This would save huge money for them imo.

BTW Walmart it was my idea so you guys owe me big time :D

I have to wonder if the plan is to drive businesses out (which will cause prices to rise due to lower supply). The "living wage" thing is another "sounds good but in actuality, is bad" type of thing. But maybe the politicians like the idea of pretending they're "fighting for the good of the people" while knowing they'll make make the people even poorer and more dependent on government hand outs.

Walmart Goes Galt

I'm no big fan of Walmart as they have used the power of the state in many instances to bully people or towns out of property, but the people calling themselves the Govt. of the District of Columbia are clearly the bigger criminals here and Walmart is absolutely righ to Go Galt.

If people don't like Walmart's wages DONT WORK FOR WALMART!

Repeal the minimum wage...

Minimum wage controls make it undesirable for employers to hire unskilled workers - thereby increasing dependency on other government programs. Without this price control, people could enter the workforce much more easily and become more skilled over time leading to a natural increase in wages.
