Kokesh update: Could be charged with armed sedition says sheriff's deputy, being kept in cold, ant infested solitary confinement


Adam was able to make a call to his father. His father thinks that Adam may not be allowed to make another call anytime soon.

Adam wants a lawyer. He has requested access to a lawyer constantly since being caged. He refuses to go to court without a lawyer. Adam’s manager, Lucas Jewell, is working on getting him trusted counsel ASAP.

Adam is being held in solitary confinement in a 6.5′ x 7.5′ cage without bedding. He was kidnapped while wearing shorts and has not been given proper clothing to protect him from the frigid temperatures that have become standard operating procedure in America’s prisons.

Adam reports via his father that the cage he has been locked into is infested with ants. Furthermore, the lights are kept on by the guards 24 hours per day without any break for rest.

A public defender is expected to be appointed at 3PM Eastern today.

During the attack on his home Tuesday evening, the flashbang (stun grenade) deployed by militarized US Park Police exploded right in front of Adam. He reports that he has yet to receive any medical care inside the prison

A sheriff’s deputy informed Adam that charges of illegal transportation of a firearm, sedition and armed sedition are being considered against him, presumably by federal prosecutors. Check out the pictures of the warrants in that link. There are two. One authorizes Adam's arrest because he had mushrooms and the other because he had mushrooms while being in possession of a firearm. It says nothing about being in possession of a fire arm in DC. These are the crimes he was charged with. So they knew they were going to charge him with these crimes before they entered and searched the house.

after his DC plaza video. So rationally speaking, why would he have magic mushrooms since it was likely he would get raided? Cause I disagree with your assertion that he wants to challenge the constitutionality of these laws.

and come to the rescue. I don't care how wrong we might think Adam's approach is to getting attention and trying to wake people up, or that he is careless and challenging the status quo with reckless abandon, he still deserves to be treated fairly like every other human being on the planet. If not, all civility is lost and our world will descend into utter chaos and bloodshed.

Adam will probably see prison time because of his very public and often imprudent approach to challenging the legitimacy of the laws and authority of the powers that be. That's just him. I had a feeling this would eventually happen. Actually, I'm more surprised that he was taken alive. I just assumed he would've been killed in a raid.

I'm dumbfounded, literally. I just sat here for a few minutes thinking about it and I can't come up with the words. If any of you are considering this style of activism, get a lawyer first. Preferably one who at least gets what you're doing and at best supports it and helps you for free.

Now that Adam's rights have been violated the Federal Court has to listen. That's my theory. I expect a writ for summary judgement on this issue.

I would have guessed that Adam has a lawyer and would have asked him about the stunt before he did it or at least advised him of it.

Where is my attorney? I want my attorney present!

Instead, he clammed up and was forced into the courtroom in a wheelchair? I don't understand this, and I also don't understand why he couldn't have an attorney present.

He certainly COULD NOT WANT a court-appointed "government" attorney. That would be a death sentence, so to speak.

I suppose they filed those charges, because they didn't want him arguing the Constitution in court?

this will end badly for the government regardless if Adam is prosecuted or not... but it will be worse if Adam is convicted.
