This is gonna be a good one!

I believe tonights debate will be the first one to truly focus on the economy. The war is where he runs into problems getting support among hardcore conservatives but with the economy the number 1 concern, Paul is going to dominate!

Anyone have a guess who's going to be copying Paul the most?

I'm thinking Mccain.

Yes this is his strongest area but...

the other candidates have already started to take his positions so as there wont be much difference between them besides the Fed.

Timing is right

Love to see him shine on the economy. A jab at McCain's economic brilliance would be outstanding!! ROFLMAO!!

If the first 30 mins is all questions from fellow candidates....

He can call out Huckabee an McCain in one shot with a quick comment like...

"Before I answer your question on the economy, I advise Sen. McCain to listen up since he admits he has little economic understanding, and I advise Gov. Huckabee to listen up so he can later claim my positions as his own like he has so many times already....

then proceed to make perfect sense like always.

All I want to see:

I would be happy just to see some anger in his eyes. A furrowed brow and tense jaw muscles. Gripping the podium like he wants to crush it into dust.

And if he can finally stomp the air out of McCain, once and for all, that would be a bonus.

I expect...

I expect the other candidates will shift their tone on the economy to appear sympathetic to struggling Americans. They will talk about fiscal conservatism and increased providence through bigger government that will somehow materialize with less taxation and more spending.

The Beauty

Ron Paul released his economic plan today, pre-debate, so he could drive the points home and there left no time for the other dolts to steal it!

RP knows....

I did notice during the last debate

that RP answered my fervent prayer.

He SLOWED DOWN his responses, LOWERED his pitch, Trimmed his arguments (tho not quite enough) and basically was tough as nails.

That earpiece crap threw him a little, tho, but he did recover but let's face it, the damage was done.

If NBC tries that shit tonite, it's lawyer time! FCC listen up.

MY ONLY CONCERN IN TONIGHT"S DEBATE WILL BE RP'S TREATMENT

In the previous debates, the underlying goals amongst the MSM's moderators has been to blatantly embarrass Dr. Paul. I don't expect tonight's MSNBC debate to be any different. I will be shocked (though very happy) if a question pertaining to the 20 year old "racist" articles (written by a supposed Ron Paul "protege") is not asked. Unfortunately, these debates are essentially the only national recognition Dr. Paul is presently receiving so that his being a part is of the utmost importance. The old adage, sometimes negative attention is better than no attention at all. And we Ron Paul supporters know that feeling more than any other. FREEDOM is the opposite of SLAVERY. If you are 99% free, you are part slave, which is like being "a little bit pregnant". FREEDOM vs. SLAVERY is a zero-sum game.

Everytime they try...

They can't make him stumble. They throw him shit pitches (they think) and he hits homeruns.

Bring it!

no, I know RP will be fine tonight

They hit him hard the last time and it not only bounced off him, it hurt them.

RP should directly challenge McCain and Romney on the economy and spending.

Whoever..

tries to mimick any of Dr. Paul's ideas HAS to be called on it by him IMMEDIATLY!! And hard! I hope he really toughens up and slams them as hard as necessary. I realize it is not in his caracter, but it has to happen. He has to stand up for all of the years of work he has done for this Nation. Steadfast conviction has to be backed with forceful thought. He can not be timid in the face of the devils who smirk and jeer him. I pray he finds the right words to do it with. This is indeed an important debate.

Yes, McCain

I heard him the other day talking about "printing money". Now I have to buy a new TV, cause I put my foot through it!

Yes shine on the economy.

Ron Paul should bring up John McCain's ignorance on economics. That McCain has to rely on adviser and former Senate colleague, Phil Gramm.
Who are we electing to be president Phil Gramm? This nimrod (McCain) is such an ignorant obsured hypocrite.

I agree...

...that McCain should be called out on his knowledge...uh...let me correct that...on his Ignorance of Economics...as follows, after he gives his answer on the Economy and his "solutions" to the problem there of...Ron Paul rebuttles it by stating similiarly to ---> 'Senator McCain, what exactly are you talking about, why not give the American People a straight answer such as you did recently with the Wall Street Journal, (direct quote inserted here) you have confessed to your own Ignorance of Economics, did you not?' Then allow his babbling on and let the lies to flow from his mouth.

"We, the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow men who pervert the Constitution." Abraham Lincoln

hucky will pander the most...

...with some quasi specifics that sound good, but measured against the illegal overseas empire will leave all but the dumb and uninformed unconvinced. sorely, thats a lot of people.

ron must honestly stay on message and continue to relate the war to the economy. more so now than ever, he needs to put it into numerical terms more profoundly than he has in the past. make it personal. explaing what it is costing us per household in terms of debt, and what this empire and our welfare state are costing our children, in debt.

peace

It MAY be a good one

If they actualy let Dr. Paul speak, and that's not a given

He Has to Take It

The time for being polite has come to an end and I'm pretty sure Dr. Paul knows it.

Expect to see an even more assertive and demanding Ron Paul than we've ever seen before.

After having an idiot like

After having an idiot like GWB in the highest office, I think it's about time we get someone more knowledgeable, have good understanding of economics, capable of deep deliberation and abstraction (high level of mental organization and connecting dots) to be in the high office of the president of the US.

What would happen if someone with limited understanding, mental faculty and temper sits. Aren't you pissing in your pants yet?

they're ALL going to copy Dr. Paul

their campaign managers probably printed out bullet point lists of RPs positions for them to study.

and you know they'll smirk while stealing his ideas right infront of his face.

but don't break your tv... because RP will blind them with the truth like he always does.

Add The Neo

"The war is where he runs into problems getting support among hardcore NEO-conservatives"

Maybe Dr. Paul should...

Just call it like it is. Many NEOs put thier necks on the line. That is why they won't rebuke this war. There is no money in peace.

I am worrying that

the MSM will only keep hammering Dr. Paul on his position on Cuba and Venezuela just to keep the audience against him.
Other than that he will dominate in the economic, war's and social issues over the other 4.

Great comebac k will help if he gets laughed at tonight also from the
Ghouliani and Mc Insane and Willard Romney.

This will be one too watch most definitely !!!!!!

"Freedom is a right that can never be won in war, only by each individual "

from the New York Times

According to Sam Stein:

At a recent meeting with the Wall Street Journal editorial board, Republican presidential candidate John McCain admitted he “doesn’t really understand economics” and then pointed to his adviser and former Senate colleague, Phil Gramm - whom he had brought with him to the meeting - as the expert he turns to on the subject, The Huffington Post has learned.

Oh boy.

About Phil Gramm, courtesy of the late, much mourned Molly Ivins:

When he ran for president in 1996 and finished fifth in Iowa, all the profiles written of him included the line “Even his friends don’t like him.” Self-righteous and strident, Gramm demonized his opponents and used bitter, polarizing rhetoric. During a Senate debate over Social Security, a member pointed out that the proposal under consideration would hurt 80-year-old retirees. “Most people don’t have the luxury of living to be 80 years old,” Gramm scoffed, “so it’s hard for me to feel sorry for them.” Well, there is that.

I totally agree with the bottom post.

That would be so...

AWESOME!

Perfect

I wish he could say exactly that too lol

Real eyes realize real lies

2012, we want our country back

2012 is the year for Ron Paul!

MSM Report: http://www.msmreport.com/

I Don't Think McCain Can Copy Paul - He can't string a complete

thought together without messing it up. President Putin from Germany? Romney won in Mexic-Michigan. All he can say is quick talking points like Bush - "I get the message. Close the borders first." That's it. I think the VietCong must have messed up his brain when he was in captivity.

Go President Paul!

’In accordance with the principles of double-think it does not matter if the war is not real. For when it is, victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, but it is meant to be continuous.’ (George Orwell, 1984)

Question for debate:

With all due respect, Senator McCain, didn't you recently say that "you don't understand anything about economics"? The interview including this statement was posted here yesterday, I don't recall the actual source, but apparently he did say this.
