War Propaganda: Pentagon Accuses Iran of Developing ICBM's Capable of Reaching the US by 2015Submitted by go213mph on Fri, 07/12/2013 - 21:17
Washington’s war machine is now claiming that Iran is capable of developing Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) that can reach the United Sates mainland by 2015. The Pentagon just released a report that is rather an alarming development within the Obama administration. The report is a step closer to their long ambitious plan to attack the Iranian republic although more than 16 intelligence agencies declared that it had ceased to develop a nuclear weapons program many years ago. Back in 2012, the New York Times reported the following:
Recent assessments by American spy agencies are broadly consistent with a 2007 intelligence finding that concluded that Iran had abandoned its nuclear weapons program years earlier, according to current and former American officials. The officials said that assessment was largely reaffirmed in a 2010 National Intelligence Estimate, and that it remains the consensus view of America’s 16 intelligence agencies.
The Jerusalem Post reported that “US intelligence agencies have assessed that as early as 2015, Iran will be set to test an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that has the capability to strike the United States, a released Pentagon report states.” What the Pentagon’s assessment also stated in the report is that “Iran has ambitious ballistic missile and space launch development programs and continues to attempt to increase the range, lethality, and accuracy of its ballistic missile force,” the report says.
