Jesus Christ ...

... who talks like that? I wrote them down:

- more than one juncture

- robust grievance with the opposition

- he's staring through a real fine prism

- 60/40 whether that sector is going to get any taps within the next tri-day (WTF?)

- diplomacy is a lighting rod, with a branch on the anterior side

- it's in the ballpark but it's a bit of a turf ball

- Secretary of State, she has a lot on her table

- it's a very loaded table

- it's right at the cusp of their throats

- it still remains in the A-1 sector, though

- (laughing) Michael, I think I've made myself pretty clear here

- All right folks, gratefully, scriptily, and scrappily.

Umm, yeah ... clear as mud. Thanks, bro.

I hope you take Jay Carney's job !!!

Yeah, Miss Teen South Carolina ...

... one of my all-time favorites.

Good thing she's hot.

The 1985 Twilight Zone was awesome...

The third edition in the '90s is hardly worth a mention, however...

Thanks for the reminder of this episode - it's like we've frudg sgam for blubder, me and you.

The original series is really

all I'm familiar with. I wasn't watching much tv by the late 80's. I only know of that Twilight Zone episode because someone recently sent it to me saying that [having a conversation with me] sometimes made him feel like that guy. Was it a self-deprecating remark? Or was he implying I was a poor communicator for not making myself understood? If so, could he have been referring to my occasionally appearing to jump from one unrelated subject to another despite the fact that I do, eventually, tie things together? (Hey, I can't help that I read Magister Ludi as an impressionable young adult, though actually I'll never know if it influenced me in being the way I am or if the reason I related to it was because I already was the way I am. Or neither.) He didn't explain. I didn't ask. I didn't really care what he meant. It's not like other granlimnograps iris any clock towers.

P.S. I felt badly about linking the Miss America gaffe and would have deleted it, but you already replied. I mean, who hasn't experienced losing his train of thought? Found himself stuttering over an answer or sitting staring at a blank page? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wb3j2m31S6U Lucky for most of us, such mental lapses aren't dugma'd on fantail shrimp!
