Im not so sure Boneless, He has admitted living in NJ

And that alone can change people, at least people I have known escaping the right wing South, that head to NJ for the most Liberal city in the U.S., I think GUS might be a product of NJ itself, indoctrinated in the schools there being taught to fear firearms at all costs even when the law abiding have them. Take him out of his bubble to the south during dove season/deer season where kids and adults walk around the local small town stores with their shotguns in tow and handguns holstered on their belts would result in pant wetting for all those that have been raised away from such. It is hard for many people to accept a reality they have never known, when being taught that all guns are scary and all that have them are criminals. Indoctrination is clear in his case, and understandable.

But you may be right as his arguments are cemented in Liberal thinking, making up narratives and when that narrative is debated into oblivion and the rational is so strongly refuting the left narrative the result is name calling, as he has done in every other post. I commend him on his desire for liberty, and think he should stick with his support of that, and leave things in which he knows nothing about alone as it makes one lose credibility among the informed speaking nonsense that most that refute him only see as ridiculous.

It is funny when we go deer hunting near a tourist trap here in the South. It is prime time for the fall leaf change and many from the Northern states flock down to tour the mountain roads. We from time to time encounter those who have gotten themselves lost and stop at the local store to ask directions with 20+ heavily armed men and legal aged teenagers are carrying all sorts of firearms. I have seen many run out of stores and flee in their cars out of pure ignorance and fear. Take someone out of their comfort zone and it is obvious they have no clue of reality, and I would dare guess GUS and his minions fall into this category. It is simply normalcy bias, and his and his small group of crusaders posts ooze of such.

We're doing a good job tag

We're doing a good job tag team'n this guy with logic and facts but he refuses to look beyond the lies.

I've been set syraight on many issues...but at least I'm willing to listen and learn. This guy reminds me of the loud mouth liberals that scream nonsense all day.

Zimmerman reported him to the

Zimmerman reported him to the authorities because TM was looking suspiciously at other people's houses. I would gladly invite GZ to my neighborhood. Neighbors are supposed to look out for each other because the cops are only there after the fact.

The only people that know

The only people that know what really happened are Martin & Zimmerman

Excellent ananlysis.

I always appreciate your logical input, JH.

absolutely spot on

This is the sickness of our society and the delusional thinking of many in the "black community" who have been herded into group-think by an opportunistic Marxist/Progressive power structure.

Stefan Molyneux also does a great job placing responsibility on Martin, a drug abuser and violent punk who initiated the contact. As importantly. Stefan draws a parallel between the whooping condoned by many black families (especially mothers) and black violence.

You got it right Jan

I remember working with two black ladies that would get upset every time a "chocolate person" was caught in a crime. They were never concerned with the victims.

And of course, I know several black people that do not agree with Obama policies but have to support him because of his color.

Social Context

I think about Martin's father. Tracy Martin had the responsibility to set boundaries for his teenage son. But he was less than responsible in his personal relationships. Was he really involved in his son's life. Was he a positive influence?:

1. Tracy Martin left Trayvon's birth mother
2. Tracy Martin lived with a second woman who was very active in raising Trayvon according to her.
3. Tracy Martin was staying with a 3rd woman (fiance) at the apartment complex where Trayvon lost his life. Tracy Martin left his son to watch her 14 year old so the "parents" could go out to dinner.

Nice post, Jan. You're only stating the obvious for me.

I feel sorry for Trayvon Martin

A lot of mixed feelings about this whole event but once again Jan makes a compelling argument.

It really is a sad event as a young kid is dead and we all made mistakes at that age but you need to be responsible for your actions.

I agree with you

Keep up the good work Jan

If it weren't

If it weren't this...something else would have killed him. Travon Martin was a wanna be gangsta.

Well said!

You are right, the case does seem very clear and shouldn't have gone this far!...not to mention the mainstream media propaganda! Has nothing to do with race..just comes down to what is right and what is wrong. You were logical and simply stated the facts!

Trayvon Martin PHOTO @ FL Juvinile Ranch 8 Days Before Shooting

Pic of Trayvon on a horse at the ranch 8 days before he was shot. http://s895.photobucket.com/user/Aye_Chihuahuaphotos/media/t...

Note the fence, building roof in the background.

Now Google map search, satellite view
"Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch"
2486 Cecil Webb Place
Live Oak, FL
South side of the road is the pasture where Trayvon was photographed riding the horse; same building, same colored roof, same colored split rail fence, same landmarks in the same places.

About the ranch: https://www.youthranches.org/video/50-years-of-service

This Sherrif's ranch video may show the horse Martin was sitting on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3J-ibzlR7lQ and pause it at 1 min and 8 mins. Looks like it could be the same horse as well.
The white blaze on the horses face is distinct, like a birthmark.

Any keyboard detectives out there?

Regardless of the horse, the google map & photo are virtually incontrovertible. Anyone agree/disagree? Have other evidence?
