Everett: If you could alter an existing law or make a new one, what'd it be, John?
Lennon: No laws.
Everett: Hmmm. That sounds like a good law.

In a proper apparatus of governance, laws are meant to guard the innocent while guiding ethical conduct.

Naturally not all laws are just and those which are unprincipled should be repealed, yet I do still believe that civil standards have a value when distilling conscience accordingly
