What Was Your Favorite Ron Paul Moment?

My favorite Ron Paul moment occurred during the 2012 debate in South Carolina. In the midst of a heated debate with Newt Gingrich about foreign policy, Dr. Paul evoked the Golden Rule and said that we should treat other nations the way we would want to be treated. It is somewhat ironic that those in the heart of the Bible Belt booed him for that. Unfortunately, many of the churches there have been hijacked by the warvangelicals and their erroneous eschatology. The Ron Paul moment in South Carolina really demonstrated the fact that the good Doctor was not concerned with political expediency or catering to his audience. That Ron Paul moment continues to influence me.

I feel a little conceded

I feel a little conceded since everyone else is talking about things ron paul did, but my favorite was making it on cspan:

Where's Treynor?

Must be near the Nebraska border? And I bet you live in Nebraska, based on your name. I was going to say we should be Facebook friends, as I'm in Des Moines. :) Did he end up winning your caucus? He did mine! (Of course, the Iowa Ron Paul campaign office was in my precinct. His granddaughter spoke for him.:)

We should be Facebook

We should be Facebook friends, although I rarely log on to fb, so maybe we could be real friends too :).

Treynor isn't to far from Council Bluffs, but I came from the other end of the state for it. He didn't end up winning my caucus, people said he did remarkably well for what they expected, there was a ton of Talk Radio worshipers their, but we presented ourselves really well.

A guy came up to us and was asking why we supported ron paul. you could see it in his actions and by the way he was implying things that he was expecting some drug issue or or something like that. We all started talking at once (because there is soooo much to cover) mostly about the financial situation. By the end of the night you could tell that, at least, they didn't think we were the whacko's that everyone was telling them we were. We presented ourselves in a calm and rational way, with smiles and laughs, and had the intellect that made people shy away from challenging our positions too much.

Not conceited...just PROUD

Which one was you? Everyone sounded great!!! :)

thanks

I was the closer. It was a crazy experience, had no idea that cspan was going to be there till I walked in the building. Plus we were running early, so stopped at a bar for a couple beers first. I believe we rationalized that by stating that the first revolution was hashed out in pubs ;)

When He Said That...

... him and Rand Paul agree on 99% of the issues.

Kind of a sad - ish memory

Remember how rude they were to him? The other candidates, the media and the audience seemed to always be laughing at him. You can hear him quietly tell Rmoney "make fun buddy..." God they were mean. It didn't seem to shake him much, the rock that he is, but that had to have been difficult.

They Were Mean

They were mean to him at times.

Kind Of Sad At Times ...

His courage and convictions made him stand tall through it all!

not sure if its the same

not sure if its the same moment, but mine was when ron put newt out of business with the "i served" exchange. you could see the emotion in him that didn't come out too often. you could see the same in newt's befuddled response. it was all so beautiful a contrast.

I'm wid ju

on dis , could have crapped me slax after seeing that !

Hands Down: 2007 SC Ghouliani P0Wnage; Single Moment that

changed the world, FOREVER: inspired millions worldwide to embark on self discovery, study history, philosophy and economics, and research geopolitics, and seek their own paths to self-ownership.

As a grown ass man, I've never teared up so embarrassingly uncontrollably, as when I saw it for the very 1st time, or since:

Oh, and politically DEMOLISHED any future ambition for Benito, the lispy crossdressing September Criminal from NYC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=G7d...

Screw the POTUS-ship; what can be more important than re-igniting a culture of liberty?

Sure history in the past has been written by 'victors,' but mark my words: they cannot hide reality forever, in the post-digital age (unless there's a WWIII and we all revert to stick and stones forever in its aftermath)!

Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul will go down in history as the single person most responsible for kickstarting the American R3VOLution/Renaissance 2.0.

I can confidently assert that every single large political movement since 2007, both real and astroturf (as a counter reaction hijacking), can be Six-Degrees-of-Separations back to Dr. Paul, from the Arab Spring, Colored Revolutions, to Tea Parties and Occupy, along with re-igniting interests in and/or if not hypercharging prepper movement and permaculture/home-steading agorism, etc.

That 'ground zero' point of departure will be all lead back to 2007.

Looking back, that may become the single most important point in history, for the early part of the 21st Century! Yes, siree!

As Tom Woods said: "Ron Paul, you changed the world", forever!

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul

Yes! Love it.

And when he stood up to Huckabee too, and said that it's our responsibility to CORRECT a mistake when we make one. I love that guy. He's just so bad@ss!

Ron Paul broke the rule

I was screaming at my television. Ron Paul, on a platform in front of millions, was debunking the "they hate us for our freedom" narrative.
I could hear thousands of Neocon heads exploding. It was pure music.

He Did Break The Rule

And he changed everything!

"pure music"??

Sir, I say it was SOUL music!

.D

yup, a septuagenarian stirred me up; and started me up:

It is yet to come.....

It is yet to come.....

Something tells me he is going to rise to his greatest while he is campaigning for his son.

A huge moment for me was finding out how he ran his practice (free if they had no money or Government money).

I had a

couple of favorite moments but a few that stood out was when he told the audience that "how many people would go do heroin if it was legal tomorrow? I bet NOBODY! Yeah I need the government to take care of me so I need these laws.

"We don't have the first amendment so we can talk about the weather" LOL

"I probably didn't use those words, you put those words some place" LOL
here is the link..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EupRuxwuMLE

Also the time when he said 0 when it came to Taxes and every body was shocked. lol

And also the time when the moderators brought up a medical question and they ignored Paul and the crowd stared yelling for him.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKvrnlS_YGY

Best part was when he told Santorum he is overly sensitive. lol

I loved it because Santorum got underneath my skin. He was such a hateful war mongering Religious man and it sickened me.

put those words someplace!!

Lol...every single time I hear that clip I laugh out loud. :D

My favorite thing Ron Paul has done...

is the most recent thing he's done.

'Retired' from politics, the man is still out there every day trying to save this country.

Have you heard from Mitt Ramen Noodle lately? How about Michael Dukakis? Bob Dole? Did any of these clowns do anything important after their moment in the spotlight was over?

Don't feed the pandas. Ever.

Good point

I have often hoped that at least one of these former candidates, presidents or congressmen would come clean and finally tell the truth after their acting career in politics was over.:(

Don't feed the pandas. Ever.

He's One Of A Kind

Ron Paul is one of a kind.

"Because ... he's a fake!"

Considering most RP supporters' utter frustration throughout the debates due to the blatantly biased media coverage, I thought I should post this one. Makes me laugh every time I see it!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jgimnsatms

Now, there is a straight shooter!!! [It was even better that the opposing candidate, Santorum, was standing directly next to Dr. Paul. Most slimy politicians would have immediately started back-pedaling and evading the question.]

I started watching the 2008

I started watching the 2008 debates becaus I was tired of Bush and it seemed a young articulate black man was trying to promote real change. I started watching the republican debates for kicks. There was this older gentleman who seemed kinda of interesting but was being laughed at and so i laughed too. Then he said this and changed my life. In the first 5 or 6 years after 9/11 nobody said anything even at home and most certainly not on TV that might come off as "unamerican", You might have thoughts in your head but you kept them to yourself. And then I heard a truthsayer stand up... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjQYg5RoH2s

Seriously? This is a question? Enough already! Make this count!

Our favorite moment is actually RIGHT NOW...

Right now we know that Dr. Ron Paul, if indeed he can pass the apparently very stringent birth certificate test, can in January of 2017 become not only the oldest, but the wisest president of the United states!

Ron Paul 2016! Get used to it!

Seriously?

That sounds more than great to me!!!!
