I promise you I will not watch another movie from this dirtball!
It shows just how much he cares about this Country! John McCain is a traitor. What gives me the right to say that? I am a 100% service connected disable veteran.

Vote RON PAUL 2008
____________
Obviously he's done this because he thinks it bolsters his own image (new Rambo movie coming out as you may have heard) //
and has no business endorsing anyone. Who cares what he thinks. Does acting give him any special brain power.
No, I TAKE OFFENCE TO ANY AND ALL ACTORS WHO ENDORSE ANY PERSON.
THIS IS PERFIDY AND A MISUSE OF THE TRUST PLACED IN THEM.
I WILL NOT SEE HIS MOVIE, RENT IT OR BUY IT.
I'M SICK OF THESE HOLLYWOOD TYPES THINKING BECAUSE THEY ENTERTAINED SOMEONE THAT I ACTUALLY CARE WHAT THEY THINK. THEY HAVE NO BRAINS, THEY ARE JUST MOUTHPIECES.

But Stallone hasn't done anything agregious to Dr. Paul like the media has. He has a right to endorse whomever he wishes. So be it. Keep the boycott for people who are just plain wrong about things, like the media, like the forever belittling O'Reilly and Hannity. For the bullies out there. We have enough to boycott without choosing people who are just living their lives in a way we disagree with.
He is forced to do what he does. Let's not forget that he is still partnered with AHnold and Bruce Willis in Planet Hollywood.
Also, he didn't really want to make Rocky 6. Had to because, as he came to realize, MGM et.al, owns Rocky and not Stallone.
So anyway, a little insight

Boycott the new Rambo? Jesus Christ I didn't even know there was a new Rambo, and who the hell would want to see this piece of S$%T????
Seriously umm I was going to "boycott" it anyway for the simple fact that making another Rambo movie is just a bad idea from the get go, and it's not like the first 3 were anything to write home about.....
Now you wanna go see a good movie go see There Will Be Blood!!!!! or No Country for Old Men!
Look, I want Ron Paul to win as much as the next guy here, but I'm more concerned about WHAT Ron Paul stands for. Freedom of speech and freedom of thought and opinion are cornerstones of the overall freedom message. We can't theaten to boycott a Movie because it's lead actor decides to express a personal opinion.
Why are we giving any sort of political credence to Sly Stallone anyway?! Who the F*** cares if he supports McCain? I don't. And a person who votes for someone because Rambo does is NOT going to vote for Ron Paul anyway. But he's entitled to his opinion.
In fact, I'm tired of hearing calls for boycotts. They're made so frequently that they're starting to lose all meaning. If every boycott here were enforced, we'd all be farming in our backyards. All trade would grind to a halt.
Boycotts are very serious things that are meant to convey a serious message. Namely, "your actions are so deeply offensive that I would deprive myself of goods that I would ordinarily buy." Stallone liking McCain is NOT offensive to me. (If it is to you 12345678, then I wish you all the best with your boycott). I don't intend on seeing the Rambo movie, but probably neither did the poster of this topic. It's easy to call for a boycott of something that doesn't matter to you anyway. If we found out the CEO of Macy's supported Hillary, would we never shop there again?!
12345678, I like your enthusiasm in supporting Ron Paul, but I disagree with the logical outcome of your approach.
Whether or not we should boycott the movie is up for debate, however Boycotting is a perfect example of freedom of speech. Noone here is advocating that we "Outlaw" the movie, but simply press people to not see it, for the simple reason of not agreeing with the filmmaker.

We are supposed to believe in freedom and personal liberty after all. Sheesh, for all the calls of boycotts here over every imagined slight, I'm afraid some folks here are running around not knowing what they can watch or buy.
Oprah's support for Obama has even backfired to some extent as her fans see it as "betraying" the woman candidate Hillary. Democrats are so lost as well...do I vote for the woman or the black man? Their beliefs don't enter the picture.

I would think Sly would endorse Ron Paul.
Sly is on a list of Libertarian celebrities, and with stories like Rambo and Rocky you would think he's back Paul.
Although maybe this is just a publicity stunt and we shouldn't look too much into it. Honestly I'm going to go see that movie, it's looks very sweet.
Something tells me that Sly just doesn't know who Ron Paul is.
Let's remember that most people don't follow politics as closely as us Paulies do. Sly is part of 'most people'. If he saw what McCain really stood for he would go "YO!"
for heaven's sake. A boycott is just silly. What, vote like me or we're going to destroy you? For God's sake. Are you willing to employ the same tactics for everyone who votes differently? Hey, my neighbor isn't going to vote for Ron Paul--- I'm going to send my dog over daily to poop in his yard. Is that OK?
Although, I no longer watch "Two & A Half Men" because of Charlie Sheen... maybe I'm being hypocritical......
My girlfriend is excited to see it...and now the whole time I am watching I will be thinking...he endorsed McCain...
How can I watch Rocky? Movies about individualism and independence and he endorses McCain. McCain believes we should all be independently prosecuted for executing our free will.

has been playing the underdog against the system supports the system's candidate. It's gotta be that war hero thing and I doubt Stallone really keeps up on politics. Without that war hero schtick, McCain would be nowhere. He was almost nowhere a couple of months ago until the GOP and MSM realized Giuliani was tanking.
Perhaps we can send them both to the Gates of Hell in search of Osama.

Stallone is an actor. Rambo is a movie.
Let's not get carried away here. Go out, see Rambo if you're so inclined, enjoy it. Or dont. Whatever.
But Stallone is entitled to his opinion, has the right to endorse whomever he choses, and his endorsement of McCain is no more justification for Paulites to boycott a movie, than if Stallone endorsed Ron Paul and then McCainites called for a boycott (which you all would surely ridicule, and spin the boycott as a fearful validation of your own candidate.)
