Zimmerman Juror B37's Gun Laws for the 21st CenturySubmitted by wherelibertydwells on Mon, 07/15/2013 - 14:38
Juror B37 in the George Zimmerman trial has signed with literary agent and Martin Literary Management president Sharlene Martin. From Mrs. Martin:
"My hope is that people will read Juror B37’s book, written with her attorney husband, and understand the commitment it takes to serve and be sequestered on a jury in a highly publicized murder trial and how important, despite one’s personal viewpoints, it is to follow the letter of the law. It could open a whole new dialogue about laws that may need to be revised and revamped to suit a 21st century way of life. The reader will also learn why the jurors had no option but to find Zimmerman Not Guilty due to the manner in which he was charged and the content of the jury instructions."
Based upon this quote, it appears that Juror B37 feels that if we didn't have such an anachronistic Constitution, then she would've had more leverage for a 2nd degree murder conviction.
Attention, Mrs. Martin and Juror B37: we don't NEED a revision of our Constitution to fit into your fantasyland vision of 21st century America. Has the criminal element in society all but disappeared? Do women need to wait patiently for the cops to arrive, while they're being raped? Do we no longer have the right to defend ourselves?
