Why 80% of People Worldwide Will Soon Stop Eating Wheat

The future of wheat is certain, and it’s toxic. There are as many health risks associated with the consumption of wheat as there are nutritional benefits claimed by the wheat industry. Why is there such a strong emphasis on the development of wheat products all over the world when there are so many adverse and crippling effects such as neurological impairment, dementia, heart disease, cataracts, diabetes, arthritis and visceral fat accumulation, not to mention the full range of intolerances and bloating now experienced by millions of people?

Approximately 700 million tons of wheat are now cultivated worldwide making it the second most-produced grain after maize. It is grown on more land area than any other commercial crop and is considered a staple food for humans.

At some point in our history, this ancient grain was nutritious in some respects, however modern wheat really isn’t wheat at all. Once agribusiness took over to develop a higher-yielding crop, wheat became hybridized to such an extent that it has been completely transformed from it’s prehistorical genetic configuration. All nutrient content of modern wheat depreciated more than 30% in its natural unrefined state compared to its ancestral genetic line. The balance and ratio that mother nature created for wheat was also modified and human digestion and physiology could simply could not adapt quick enough to the changes.

The wheat of today is dangerous. Highly hybridized and genetically altered. And a probably one of the main factors in much of the chronic diseases today.

I have lost 10 pounds of flab

I have lost 10 pounds of flab over the last month, by eliminating wheat and reducing carbs. The thing is, cutting the wheat is what has allowed me to reduce my carbs, for I no longer crave the extra calories. Wheat spikes appetite like crack.

I've lost 20 lbs. of fat in 6 weeks...

...by eating wheat and whatever else I want. How? I lift weights 4 times a week and run 3 times a week. I somehow feel great in spite if the evil grain I'm consuming. :)

How old are you?

There are lots of factors.

But using your very own logic, which is a logical fallacy, you can't say that an "effect" (losing weight) is caused by ONE "cause" (exercise) if there are multiple potential causes. Similarly, you can't say "wheat causes EVERY ailment," because there are multiple causes. But you can say something is bad for you. Like smoking. And folks who have confused logic can say, "well yeah, but my grandmother has smoked for 40 years and is healthy as an ox", so THEREFORE smoking is not bad for you. Please consider the fallacy.

I have lifted weights and exercised, as have millions of Americans, and NOT lost weight. Stress is a major factor as well. Natural metabolism as well. What types of food you eat (like GE wheat, sugar, etc.) can completely cancel out the good that comes from exercising.

Age has a huge impact as well. If you are younger, you can get away with eating crap and NOT exercising so much.

To the ignorant, warnings of wheat may sound like nonsense.

But there's already years and years of research which prove that GE wheat is bad for your health.

In your defense, I think the 80% quote from the article sounds a bit like nonsense. That's like saying 80% of people will be off sugar in the near future. Yeah right!

So if that's your point, I agree.

But if you are saying that genetically-engineering wheat is not bad for you and this is a global-warming type of hoax, then you would be wrong.

What do scientists and doctors, who are warning people, have to gain by such a hoax? Some may gain by selling books, but the point is they have testimonials (thousands) that prove a wheat-free diet has HEALED many of their diseases and health problems.

For my, by the way, I've been largely off wheat for 6-7 weeks now. I had several Hawaiian rolls this past weekend due to a camping expedition in a remote area and all that was served was soup and lots of rolls. And interesting, it constipated me immensely.

But my personal testimonial is that I've lost about 5 lbs (and that's with I hate to say, a pretty good dose of sugar in my food choices), and a 8-month long rattling (like bronchitis) sound in my chest has disappeared.

One place I visited a few times was www.wheatbellyblog.com. Check it out for more info and testimonials. I haven't read his book yet, instead opting to go wheat-free. But I believe he's got some valuable research and clinical science to share.

How about informing yourself with the book "Wheat Belly"?

Rather than making negative, snarky comments. Truth is truth, regardless of what the truth is describing. You are not sharing truth, you're sharing what's happening to your liver. Be nicer to it, and be nicer to the world.
