LOOPER

Looper
In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented - but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a "looper" - a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) - is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good... until the day the mob decides to "close the loop," sending back Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. -- (C) Sony

Great scene !

From one of the best movies of all time.

I say great scene, because the movie is filled with great scenes and one-liners. Impossible to pick the BEST scene in this movie !

Precious Metals

Consider this. Every time you see it, there is an element of CRIMINALITY associated with it.

Meaning, it's BAD.

When they catch a hidden shipment across Italy (totally hoaxed as evidenced by the lightweight bars) it again reinforces the notion that it's what criminals use.

Like drug money.

It's purpose is to demonize it to the general population.
Subtle to the mind yet highly reinforced.

It's neuro linguistic programing.

Decent movie, another interesting note about the future

in that movie is that the monetary system has a SILVER component to it. All through the movie there are shots of Silver bars being payed out and stacked. Gold bars appear at the end too. IMO TPTB know Physical WILL be reverted back to, and are transmitting this reality via Hollywood. This guy talks about it more in depth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbwDpme-gcQ

It actually makes perfect

It actually makes perfect logical sense. If you exist in the year 2042 and want to pay someone who exists in 2012, what would they ever be able to do with your 2042 paper money? They'd be laughed at anywhere they tried to use it.
