This is why

This is why some people should not be allowed to vote.
Every voter's ballot should have a series of simple questions, if you don't get the "right" answer...your vote does not count.
You must pass a test to obtain citizenship...Why not?

Most Americas Are Disgustingly Ignorant, Unaware and Stupid

These Americans don't deserve to be free. Look at how they use their freedoms. The freedom to go to hell in a basket...

So very sad

Lambs to the slaughter...

Good Comedy But Proves Very Little

First off, he doesn't show the whole interaction. Second, I'd like to see him explain what the petition is about BEFORE handing the person the sheet. In some cases he mentions "Obama's crimes" after they've started signing. Then there's the fact that people are barely (if at all) listening. Heck, one guy had his headphones on the whole time.

I still say what's happening is that these people see a friendly dude and they think they're doing him a solid by signing his petition.

But still, the "thank you for supporting Obama's crimes" was hilarious!

But that is the point...these

But that is the point...these people are so stupid they are willing to sign about issues that haven't been explained, that they do not understand in the slightest, and upon which they base hasty asumptions on buzz words. That is a big part of the public.

and most Californians will comply, eh?!

It may be edited out

but not even one person asks about his book. His t-shirt says "ask me about my book", but nobody does.

Just intellectually lazy, self absorbed people. That is how they have been trained and the all seem very, very, content.

Liberty = Responsibility

Ya know...

this is not completely bad, it means these people are super "outta It" and teaches us we can run a petition for pretty-much anything we'd want... and they'll sign it.

So let's get some recall efforts going and anti-spying stuff... they'll just sign it. Instead of loathing about it we can use this knowledge for better.

Mark should do a test where he has a petition for something good and see if when worded the way he does in his videos they'll sign it.

For example...

Ya know Obama really needs your help to bring positive change to America. One of the things we can do is to sign this petition to outlaw drones.

Boom!! I bet you'll get a signature and it's not lying, he needs some serious help. LOL

Or Obama needs your help to get rid of divisive congressmen hell bent on stoping progress. Please sign this petition to recall Dianne Feinstein.

I bet they'll sign that one too.

We should have a law that all

We should have a law that all Black presidents and black cabinet members can't be held accountable for their crimes while in office.

Horrendous. Depressing.

Horrendous. Depressing.

Not very funny.

Conditioned human brains will never cease to frighten me the most to the guts.

If you listen carefully,

Most of them don't really pay attention to what he's saying. They just make a rash assumption immediately that 'signing a petition' is something that only good people would want you to do so it's ok. I was hoping that at least one person would confront him about word definitions like 'crimes, immunity' and similar ones but even he couldn't keep a straight face when that possibility came up.

So... I tend to think this specific example is more of an apathy problem than being trained to obey. And I believe apathy comes, for the most part, from going so long without your input being valued.

If we could only find a way to show these people that to get involved actually would make a difference so it's worth the effort. Speaking of which, we should talk again sometime. We missed our last scheduled one. :O

Yes, I hear you, friend.

Yes, I hear you, friend. Have no doubts.

But their apathy in voting booths scares me just as much, you know.

Trying hard to remotivate myself on this end. Need badly to refocus.

Mood is pretty low lately, to be honest. :/

Back to work.

I know, my friend

but as you may remember, I have news that will definitely change your focus. ;)

And yes, the apathy is a bad thing but much easier to fix than arrogant ignorance, right?

Hilarious but

also the exact reason we should focus on free market fixes instead of trying to wake people up so they can do it. I just don't have that kind of faith anymore.

Amusing in it's awfulness.

Very much for supporting his crimes.. I laughed so hard.

Geez, Mark...that's gotta be

Geez, Mark...that's gotta be depressing. I'm surprised you could hold it that long.
