What do you call yourself?

Libertarian, Anarchist, Minarchist, Anarcho-capitalist, Sovereign Citizen, Constitutionalist, etc.??

It seems since we are all about individualism, that labels don't stick or we are constantly coming up with new ones so we don't get lumped in with someone we don't like. I would prefer to be called a libertarian because it's so simple. It all hinges on the non-aggresion principle, and its easy to look at everything through that lens. But the word libertarian has been so bastardized by the media and the Tea Party its hard to get a conversation going and declare your political ideals. So what do you say?

Edit 7/27: Wow thanks for all the comments. I couldn't have imagined a better response.

As a free individual I made up my own word. Why?..., because I believe connotation replaces denotation too much of the time. Take words such as anarchist or capitalist. If people don't know the actual definition of the word they most often use a much maligned popualist form of the word. By creating my own word people have to ask me what it means so they are unable to prejudge me. I took the verb that I believe is the most important action that has to be exercised in a free society and turned it into a noun. I think it is very hard to misconstrue what a consentualist believes in once they explain it. Consent must always be the vocal point in human transactions in my opinion. And for people who disagree with me, they must start right away by stating when consent is not appliciable. Most people who are against the cause of liberty are still very uncomfortable doing that. I hope it makes them think.

Permaculture Republican

And my politic is a game of transcendentalism:

Permaculture transcending Progressive "sustainable" generations into Libertarian thinkers //and//

Using Austrian Econ. language to transcend Neo-con Z's into Republicans again.

With one Goal: A Permaculture Republic;

Our constitution demands that we value our receipts just as we would value those that mined for our money. I seek value in stores of wealth not obligations to government health.

Think of it like this; in due time, we will all have a double, and that double will be enslaved, that double will follow you and store your wealth in a derivative market. A game that established monetization in the Sebelius case just recently.

Sing freedom and Liberty and PEACE TO ALL!!!!!!!!

Well, a simple man, of course :)

A Jeffersonian Austrianist of course. :)

Seems the best way to label my personal philosophy is as Jeffersonian-Austrianist, i.e. a classical liberal in the spirit of Mr. Jefferson and his inherent mistrust of government coupled along with the Austrian School of economics.

And yes I am aware this puts me at odds with Mr. Hayek, but not with Mr. Rothbard. :)

I call myself

a fan of liberty. I would say libertarian, but party doesn't matter so much with me. I would even vote for a Democrat if they were in favor of auditing/ending the fed, stopping the pointless wars, and actually follow the constitution. Good luck with that though right? lol

I am nothing

I am who I am.

Labels are stupid and meant to divide and compartmentalize. Why do I have to be anything? I am me.

Thomas Paine said it best.

Because I want to keep my purchase private.

I love liberty like fresh cool air in my lungs.I love freedom like fresh cool water on my tongue.I love peace like the smooth skin of my sweet lady. And Dr.Ron Paul is the hero I believe will change the world.

I've been a libertarian since the 1980's

That is when I started supporting Ron Paul. I was upset when he went back to the GOP, but I see what his goal was now, and it worked. Getting into that GOP national debate made him almost mainstream. It woke up a lot of people. I mean, when I voted for him for president when he ran as a Libertarian in the 80's, he only got about 250,000 votes. Now he gets more than 1 million.

I switched to the GOP, but I have never voted for a GOP for president. I vote GOP sometimes for senate, depending on who is running. Mostly I still vote Libertarian.

I do contribute to Rand Paul. I totally support him, but since I live in WA, I can't vote for him.

I wish I had been a Ron Paul

I wish I had been a Ron Paul supporter since the 80s.

Kudos to you sir.

Me too

Won't go so far as to say we are the only true patriots but it is almost impossible to restore the Constitution unless you understand the intent behind the original document.

Republicrat. Some of both

Republicrat. Some of both major parties.

Who am I?

Simply a good man.

A man of honor, a democratic republican, a jeffersonian, a libertarian, a christian, a shepherd, a man of faith. I would hope to be classified in any of these things their principles represent, while not being affiliated with any groups that were born from any of them.

The sad truth is that good men are not trusted, I have felt this first hand many times, I am expected to have evil in my heart, and unless people can see it, I am hiding something.

I vow to prove good men still exist. This is the only legacy I wish to leave behind, and often pray for the return of good men in America. If I can help one person realize chivalry still exists, I will have made my goal.

Libertarian Anarchist and Anarcho-Capitalist. Not quite absolute pacifist.

Anarchist or voluntaryist depending on who I'm talking to.
If I'm talking to somebody who I'm certain has no idea what anarchy means (and are going to assume it means something like chaos or disorder) then I'll use the word voluntaryist. Sounds a lot better, means the same thing.
