Most conservatives detest McCain. Ron Paul makes his points.
Not much said about Ron Paul but it is not negative.

GOP Down to Two: McCain, Romney
The Republican winnowing is in full swing.
As predicted here, Fred Thompson, who never seemed to enjoy campaigning, is gone. Duncan Hunter is gone. And Rudy Giuliani is soon to go as he is collapsing in Florida, New York, New Jersey, and nationally.
The race is now a two-man race: the media’s fave, John McCain, and Mitt Romney, who is becoming the default conservative candidate.
Most conservatives detest McCain. They’re not in love with Romney but they’ll support him if only to stop McCain.
To watch the liberal media pump up McCain’s campaign is a disgusting sight. They make no effort to hide their pro-McCain bias.
Now they will try to destroy Romney in order to help McCain. The problem with that is the more the media hates you, the more the right likes you!
Florida next Tuesday is a huge contest because it is a test of McCain in a primary where only republicans can vote. So far — like 2000 — McCain only wins GOP primaries when independents and Democrats can cross over and vote in a GOP primary.
Romney has the Jeb Bush machine working of him plus tons of money. The polls show these two tied - and tonight’s debate will have a big impact.
Huckabee is broke and can’t expand his base from the religious right and not all of them support him.
Giuliani is toast. Perhaps the worst run campaign of all time. What arrogance! What an ego!
Ron Paul makes his points. But he is mired at best at 10 percent.
Make no mistake: McCain must be stopped. If he were to be the GOP nominee, he would ruin what’s left of the Republican Party, and he would damage conservatism, too. If he were president, we should all fear for the country. He is dangerous. He cannot be allowed to control the executive branch.
What a mess we are in!

If you vote for the candidate who best represents your
own ideals, then it is not a wasted vote; it is never a wasted vote. Folks, in 1972 I voted for a fellow named John Hospers. I had to request a paper ballot to do it. I knew full well that he had no chance of winning. Nationwide, he got less than 4000 votes, although he did receive one electoral vote from a, then Republican, from Virginia named: Roger MacBride. Should I have voted for Nixon just because it was so obvious that he was going to win, when I knew full well that I could never lend my personal support to his politics or to his stewardship of the office of POTUS? Or should I have voted against Nixon by way of embracing the marxist candidate from the other so-called major party? The whole lesser-of-two-evils and "wasted vote" concept is the doormat for the incrementalism that has been allowed to slowly erode our rights as citizens and our control over our republic.
No more lesser-of-two-evils. No more compromise.
Republican party had been warned in 2006
I have voted Republican the last 18th years.
I'm ultra conservative and I've always voted for the Republican nominee - NOT THIS TIME - I'll be GLAD that the Republicans go down if they ARE SOOO stupid to nominate anyone but Ron Paul. GOOD - let the Dems ruin this country more then Bush did (if that's possible.) but I'm never going to give my vote freely to any non-conservative. And you know what I don't care - we are getting screwed -let the Republican Party go down in flames for all I care. They have treated Pat Buchanan, Andrew Napalatino and Ron Paul like they are crazy or they aren't conservative. We are a LARGE part of the republican party let them fry in their own oil! None of these candidates (except Ron Paul) are conservative in regards to Family, Life, Economics or Protecting our Troops, Taxes or the Constitution. Enough said!
"Many of us agree that you and I have no right to use coercion against people who don't owe us anything. The same prohibition applies to groups of people who constitute the government. The reason is simple: unjust acts do not become just when legalized."

I'm bailing from the GOP if
Ron Paul ain't the man.........I've detested Bush, and I sure can't stand to see a McCain in there. Talk about going from bad to worse. I'd rather see the Clintons back in office. At least, they're not pro war. Screw the GOP - after the way they've thrown stones at Ron Paul.

McCain is a 'Mini-Me'
of Bush. I cannot even imagine.
McCain's mom doesn't think he has it

Did anyone just hear Russert when they were going off the air
for commercial break. He said something muttered and then said "This is unbelievable"
